To a degree

He may use this as an excuse for getting let go instead of his sub-par play.

Either way, the 49ers would be better of w/out him and the drama.

Too bad he isn't tradable.

Not if Dak Prescott stinks it up. LOL, imagine that Kap and the drama in DAL.

Dallas would, if they think Kaep can help them. TO figuratively piss on the Dallas star in the middle of the field, yet Jones signed him and all was good again.

We are Nuts if we expose him to injury Thursday.

Thank you BOI...if he DID get a chance to play and if he DID get injured, would we be on the hook NEXT yr for his salary also? Because if that is true, don't even let him put his jersey on. He could slip in the tunnel floor coming into the stadium and injure a knee. An easier answer would be to cut him immediately so there is no chance of injury.

As an aside, he gets $125,000 for each game he plays in (or is it suits up for???) IF I were the owner, I would want to insure he doesn't get injured in a 9ers jersey ever again.

They would have for sure, before this weekend. I seriously doubt if they could sell him to their fan base.

Dude played himself. Could be a Dallas Cowboy right now, playing behind a badass OL and staring down Dez Bryant.

His trade value is at the lowest point so far. Most people on this board scoffed at taking a 4th rounder this year for him...hell there was even arguing going on 1 year ago regarding whether Kap was better than Wilson. Now he's a 5th round return at best imo. He'd have to win the starting role here and turn back the clock 3 years to get a decent return.

Other teams will pull what the Giants pulled against us while Colin is sitting there on the bench. This is gonna divide the locker room like nothing we've ever seen and this teams gonna go down in flaming F'ing heap. All this over a 2nd string QB that we can't keep or cut without having to weather a s**tstorm in every city this team plays in.

Yesterday Jeff Fisher said that his "organizational philosophy" is the team will stand at attention during the anthem with their helmet under their left arm. Don't think every national news outlet will not have a camera on both sidelines for a possible compare and contrast shot. If Kaepernick is still on the team for that first game against the Rams, it might not be pretty.

Yes indeed. He has just screwed himself out of a great opportunity. Twice this year. The Broncos just announced Trevor Siemian as their starter lol.

I thought his organizational philosophy was 7-9?

Nah, Alex Smith doesn't care. I get the inference but one of Smith's most appealing attributes is his commitment to stay above the fray.

Alex kept helping Kap after being replaced. I don't think he cares.

This is true. He's all about business, which seems to be thirs or fourth on kap's agenda.

Well at this point, new poster probably last time posting judging from the atmosphere here.
Love the team, have been reading this forum for 5 years. But the tribal atmosphere on this site is getting over the top. Blindfury, while not being the most objective poster, has been getting personal taunts for weeks. Like straight being called out and trolled. Not saying he hasn't picked his own battles, not all that i agree with. Now all of a sudden Kaepernick makes a political stand that, while not positive press for the team from the national media, is reflecting upon real issues. It has nothing to do with his play. However, now that he is apparently public enemy number one, that makes it open season on kap and his "supporters".
So reading this thread last night as i often do, i noticed a change. There was a rediculous amount of racially/religiously charged comments. There were at least 5 posts calling out Blindfury (who wasnt in the conversation) for his support of the antichrist kaepernick. They werent from everyone, but nobody really stopped to call them out. As well, there was a poster hoping for somebody to break Kaepernick's back, another hoping he was sent to Syria etc. It is rediculous how this thread turned lord of the flies so fast, bullying, all the trolls in here at once talking directly about a poster then telling them to leave for supporting a player on the team. Again blindfury has spoken his mind and i dont speak for him but as a longtime reader, the last 2 days have been pretty offensive, bullying/trolling and bigotry displayed.
I have no problem with people's right to get upset about any of it, but the bullying and tactless anti muslim/activist/posters with a hard on for kap because he has a different view point has been pretty disgusting. Stud, Jed, Bob, and un proffesional ( the guy crying about bullies, harrasment etc... then piling on kap supporters) have been about as trollish as possible and made this a pretty ugly thread. No offense to the mass of posters who just like football and the 49ers. But really when blind said the stormfront comment, guessing it was all the anti muslim racial stuff 40 pages back. it may have been modded by now but it was there. Not refferering to mojave nc, cc, phx paso or other reasonable ppl, But the ones that thought well lets let the hate fly now that Kap isnt murican enough for us. Really it was a bunch of offensive junk.
Hope it all gets back to normal soon. Go niners

Hey Blindfury, make sure you use a VPN to hide your IP address so you don't get banned for multiple accounts. Lol
