Heard the little bit they played on nfl radio. His voice is annoying. Can't take him seriously.

f**k this clown show.
I wouldn't go that far...I don't think he honestly believes this reflects negatively on the team in anyway or that it would in turn get him some sort of revenge. I do think shifting the publicity of his rapidly declining game to the new political rhetoric has "conveniently" shifted the topic of conversation on him and given him a ready made excuse for his eventual exit and the timing of it all with the past accusations against Chip is not lost on me either. I also will not go as far as to say Kap doesn't believe what he is saying, but there is certainly a very self serving element to all this that adds to a lot of peoples consternation about the guy. What he is saying is not wrong on the face of it, there is a race issue in this country and it is his right to say it, but how he has done is certainly worthy of taking a ton of criticism on many levels, professional, politcal and personal. As a sidebar I will not I have many friends and family who have served and I had intended to myself before I ended up with Crohn's disease and the military wouldn't take me. I assure you people have served find this incredibly offensive. Saying that a protest against the symbol of the nation they have bled and died for isn't a protest against them does not make it so. In fact it is the exact same as the southerners claiming that the rebel flag is not a symbol of racism.
Nicely put.
I was hoping we would be able to focus on his awful play as a QB, but the national news this morning made sure my day didn't start out like that. Can't wait for the embarrassment on National Television on Thursday.

They are blasting Kaepernick bigtime on the radio here. Saying that he is too polarizing to be a leader in a lockerroom filled with 52 other guys who might have different views and dont appreciate the media shoving mikes in their face and questioning them about his views.
That he knows his football career is over and he is trying to latch on to something else.

Kaep is conflicted. He tries so very hard to be down and relevant with the oppressed black community, but can't shake his hard working middle class white family upbringing. Thus he has no idea how to go about helping the oppressed other than sit on the anthem.

Pretty much saying that every where this morning. That should help us on the "team unity" front.

Well at this point, new poster probably last time posting judging from the atmosphere here.
Love the team, have been reading this forum for 5 years. But the tribal atmosphere on this site is getting over the top. Blindfury, while not being the most objective poster, has been getting personal taunts for weeks. Like straight being called out and trolled. Not saying he hasn't picked his own battles, not all that i agree with. Now all of a sudden Kaepernick makes a political stand that, while not positive press for the team from the national media, is reflecting upon real issues. It has nothing to do with his play. However, now that he is apparently public enemy number one, that makes it open season on kap and his "supporters".
So reading this thread last night as i often do, i noticed a change. There was a rediculous amount of racially/religiously charged comments. There were at least 5 posts calling out Blindfury (who wasnt in the conversation) for his support of the antichrist kaepernick. They werent from everyone, but nobody really stopped to call them out. As well, there was a poster hoping for somebody to break Kaepernick's back, another hoping he was sent to Syria etc. It is rediculous how this thread turned lord of the flies so fast, bullying, all the trolls in here at once talking directly about a poster then telling them to leave for supporting a player on the team. Again blindfury has spoken his mind and i dont speak for him but as a longtime reader, the last 2 days have been pretty offensive, bullying/trolling and bigotry displayed.
I have no problem with people's right to get upset about any of it, but the bullying and tactless anti muslim/activist/posters with a hard on for kap because he has a different view point has been pretty disgusting. Stud, Jed, Bob, and un proffesional ( the guy crying about bullies, harrasment etc... then piling on kap supporters) have been about as trollish as possible and made this a pretty ugly thread. No offense to the mass of posters who just like football and the 49ers. But really when blind said the stormfront comment, guessing it was all the anti muslim racial stuff 40 pages back. it may have been modded by now but it was there. Not refferering to mojave nc, cc, phx paso or other reasonable ppl, But the ones that thought well lets let the hate fly now that Kap isnt murican enough for us. Really it was a bunch of offensive junk.
Hope it all gets back to normal soon. Go niners
Mrs. Fury, at some point you need to let Blindfury wash behind his own ears.

Did Houston Lives matter when he said the storm was coming? Did he sit during the anthem in Houston?
Please confirm.

That should surely unite the team.Abd of course it will blow away quickly, you know we only have to get televised 17 more times this year. Doubt anyone will notice or talk about us at all.

New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz also had some words of advice for Kaepernick.
"I think, personally, the flag is the flag. Regardless of how you feel about the things that are going on in America today and the things that are going on across the world with gun violence and things like that. You've got to respect the flag and stand up with your teammates. It's bigger than just you, in my opinion. I think you go up there. You're with your team, and you pledge your allegiance to the flag and the national anthem as a team, and then you go about your business, whatever your beliefs are," Cruz stated in part.
Kaepernick might not like the national anthem, but there's clearly no doubt that the Giants players and staff support it.

Sad day to be a 49er fan. Seattle will probably do the same thing next time.
Oh the San Diego game coming up is going to be a ball of...fun. Be interesting to see how the fans in a Navy town treat Kap..

Can't be Blindfury that wrote that post. Whoever wrote it lumped me in with his view of reasonable posters.
I agree with all of the names that were listed as such though. And would like to thank my agent, the studio for having faith in me, the director, and everyone on the set for the incredible honor of being nominated, and mentioned on the same stage as the others.
Focus. Show them you are still the true starter qb of the Niners!
