That might be the case but at least they are doing it together as a team.

Well, it's an easier path...and like I said - it's good for business.

Yea...that's fair. Kap is an idiot...not because he didn't stand up for the national anthem. It's because he is regressing as a football player and doesn't or won't put the work in to stop that slide.

I'm pretty new here so are you his dad , uncle , granddad, high school best friend ....I've never seen a person so adamantly defend another person no matter what that person does.. this is by no means meant to troll ...Kap is a very gifted athlete but just not an NFL QB...I do think he would be a great baseball player though...

Sure.

Think the guy gets a s**tload of unnecessary hate on here and I'm LOLing at the fake outrage once again for an african american not wanting to stand for an anthem written by a slave owner about killing slaves.

Disappointing. He's mixed and raised by white parents. If anything, he should be a bridge-builder, not one that sits in the corner crying foul.

Ok here's my question : What the f**k does his white parents have to do with any of this???

Kap on the other hand....Well if you dont see the difference, i dont think anyone can explain it.

They're standing up...I don't see anything positive or any cause.

If you're going to project yourself as a patriotic - then how about do something that actually makes a difference.

Standing up during national anthem does NOTHING...and it's even sillier to be upset with someone who doesn't.

Kap is just a bad quarterback who is over-paid and seems to have bad work ethic...and that should be enough to not like him.

motherf**ker should be so busy trying to get better at his job he should be blind to any problems outside of his own horribleness

THIS.

He got paid...and it seems like he lost any motivation to get better.

Obviously hindsight is 20/20, and says we should've stuck with Smith. But either way we wouldn't have a SB winning QB. Smith wasnt going to get us over the top either.
Other teams will pull what the Giants pulled against us while Colin is sitting there on the bench. This is gonna divide the locker room like nothing we've ever seen and this teams gonna go down in flaming F'ing heap. All this over a 2nd string QB that we can't keep or cut without having to weather a s**tstorm in every city this team plays in.

Something about that girl hes dating turns guys into homeless looking idiots. Aldon had the same disheveled hair as Kap.

Kap can do whatever the f**k he wants. Im more concerned about him not sucking on the field. Could he have protested in other ways? sure. He is risking media backlash and fan hate for what he believes in. Do you bro, just dont suck when you rep the 49ers. all these side distractions with kap are the problem but they cant cut him without losing 16m

One thing I haven't seen anyone mention is that our next game is being played in San Diego. One of the most patriotic venues for sports.

I suspect they will have something special to honor the flag and service men and women.

even though it's obvious Kaepernick is not trying to disrespect our service men and women... San Diego will still push a us vs him rhetoric. There will be boos...won't be surprised if they zoom in on him on the jumbotron.

BUT this is what comes with the territory...hope Kaepernick obsorbs all of it and bounces back from the field rust of last week.

some of yall can root against him if yall want....lol. Won't be the first time I'm sure...I'm sure it won't be too hard.

He's definitely going to hear it from the SD crowd, but he decided to do this. Hope he has a good game and is not affected by all the distractions.
