Cam newton seems to be getting some praise from the media when brought up, add to the fact he was last seasons mvp. That being said, I believe kap is a better QB than Cam. Cam played bad in the SB and looked like he gave up a little, kap gave everything he had until the very final moments of his SB.

What I find funny is you refuse to believe that Kaep can improve. You seem to always harp on him being terrible....referring to his issues in the past. Why not the same with Gabbert whom has a history of being a poor QB as well?
I don't understand how one could be so positive towards one and so negative towards the other. They both played equally poorly last year and have their own issues.
If Kaep excels next year, there's you already have a home in the NFL forum.
Actually, dude, I think you've got me confused with someone else. I've never said Kaepernick can't improve and can't get back to his 2012 standard of play. I've stated that I don't think he's a good quarterback but an exceptional athlete. I've stated he needs to work on being a true quarterback and not a one-read-and-run quarterback.
So, rather than drag this out into yet another one of your infernal disagreements where you spout your opinions and refuse to listen what others have to say because you're incapable of having a civilized conversation or debate, I'll leave you with a good day, sir. I hope you can find peace with whatever it is that is troubling you.

In their minds, that scenario will not ever happen. You see, it has already been written. Kaep ends up bagging groceries next year, Gabbert goes on to win league MVP.
Don't think he can tell the team to f**k off based on his contract. He plays well he'll get paid well if not he will be moved.
Personally I'd like to see what Kap can do with chip vs Blaine but I'll root for either starting QB.

In all regards he was a better QB in 2014...everyone sucked last season not just the qbs on this team.

What if he does and stinks it up, Kaepernick comes in and shows the same tendencies of staring down his first read and sucks just as much as Gabbert? It can happen and probably will.
You missed my point. Think about it, Kaep already doesn't trust the organization. We'd be better off him beggining the season as the starter and losing it that way We'd truly know vs Blaine starting and losing it. I think Kaep would be pissed off at that point and if he played well would ask for a trade. At that point we would have no QB and in the vicious cycle of trying to find a QB.
I see what you're saying now. It definitely will be interesting to see how the season plays out. I would guess that, if Kaepernick wins the job, he stays next season, and Gabbert would likely stay as a backup and for stability. If Gabbert wins the job, Kaepernick is gone.

IMO it won't matter who the starter is. I've seen Kap win a game with his legs and lose a game with his arm. I've seen Blaine win a game by being smart and lose a game by being blah. Blaine is 100%. Kap is ? Still seeing 5 wins either way.
just teasing you!
Hey cciowa. Fired you. You Need stop joking around here and stop test other people what they saying something. You are fool because you are very weird and not make sense.. you are a 49ers fans?!! Eeww!!

Personally, I don't buy it. Players don't have nearly the kind of leverage that their agent would tell them they have(see: Chancellor, Kam or Crabtree, Michael). It wouldn't matter if he demanded a trade - so what? The 9ers don't have trade him. Plus, if he were unprofessional enough to either sit or play poorly on purpose, then it greatly affects his trade stock as he'd be seen as a major drama risk(see: Owens, Terrell).
So, let's say this situation plays out and CK demands a trade after performing exemplary following losing the job to Gabbert - he has no leverage to force a trade. If he sits, then he forfeits a year in his prime playing career and millions of dollars - plus hurts his own draft stock. So, he'd be left with either a forced trade, another start over or sitting - neither situation would be anywhere close to ideal, or realizing that he had to earn his spot back and moves forward with a team that was operating as any other NFL team would have - case closed.
CK has no leverage here to force his being the starter other than him straight up balling out from pre-season on. That's the only leverage he can force.
No depth chart decision should ever get made over whether or not it would make a player mad. That'd be like a CEO deciding who runs the meeting based off who'd get upset and throw a tantrum instead of who's the most qualified.

actually the opposite could happen if Gabbert plays great then leaves in free agency the niners are stuck with a QB they can't trust and has no trade value.

This Tweet says everything about Cohn's integrity and his bias.
HA! I hadn't thought of that but their styles are similar.

If Gabbert plays great this year, he's certainly going to prefer to come back to the coach that put him back in a system that suits him.
Or, would the Niners want to underpay him like Denver did with Osweiler, who got $18m/yr with the Texans on stats below Gabbert's of last year.
