why did the Texans deal for Mallett and not Brady? if Brady is so much better than Mallett why didnt the Texans inquire about brady
oh that's right, because teams generally arent interested in trading the best QB they have on the roster
they'll likely only listen to offers for the #2's if the offer is right...

C'mon man you disappoint me you can do better rebuttal than that
Not at all. Your "throw s**t at the wall and see if it sticks" approach is something I love to call out time and time again...just like this post:

Even Fitz had 2 serious proposals: Jets and Broncos
Kaepernick has not even close the value that some people give him
Please name the teams that are in need of a #1 QB and are actively looking for one. Go ahead.

Depends on what you consider serious. He threw for 4000 yards and 39 TDs for the Jets last year and they offered him basically the same contract that Chase Daniel got to be a backup with the Iggles.
He is a system QB that is a backup on pretty much every NFL team that doesnt gave Chan Gailey calling the offense.
Safer choice than Kaepernick but doesnt give you the same upside either.

How are the Broncos more serious about Fitz than they are about Kap? Did they offer him a contract?
Neither Broncos or the Jets want to pay 7 M year to Fitz

I know that.If the Broncos indeed sign him he will probably be Sanchez backup(crazy isnt it???)
You have to throw the price in the mix.Fitz is asking 7M per year
Kaep don t want to restructure his contract and the team who trade for him will be stuck with 5 years averaging 19M per year.
Yeah he can be cut anytime but in that scenario it automaticaly lows the value of the trade.
No team is gonna pay him that ammount of money

List all the teams that should be inquiring about trading for a starting QB.

What are his numbers outside of Chan Gailey? He sucks and is old.

Pretty sure it doesn't say anywhere in there that the Broncos offered him a contract so how are they more interested in him than Kap when it clearly said Kap is their Plan A and Fitz their Plan B
They reached out to his agent to see what figures they are talking about, nothing more.

Still no contract offered. They reached out to see what they wanted and were not happy with the numbers. Nothing more

Reported that the offer from the broncos was less than 7M per year.
" The Broncos have had discussions with the free-agent quarterback's representatives but do not want to pay the salary Fitzpatrick is seeking, according to an ESPN report. "
