You admitting you're trying to act disingenuous and treat this as a game doesn't help the discussion. It would be better to just drop the discussion with the people you don't agree with before you let yourself get to that point.

If Gabbert was that great, why haven't the Broncos or any team for that matte traded for him? He makes $2M and according to WZ just needs good coaching. Let me get this right. While Gabbert is the BETTER QB. He is younger, has excellent mechanics and a high football IQ. A budding Brady that makes $2M/season no team has inquired about him because he didn't ask to be traded? Is this a joke? A league desperate for a QB hasn't dared kick the tires on Joe Montana Jr?

As I said, I can play this game of confirmation bias all day.

Because Gabbert and his agents haven't made it known he's looking to get out? Because Gabbert has never been in a SB? Because Gabbert is the modern Derek Carr in perception?

This is absolutely no different. So many fans hated Alex and the "Alexcuses." We're back at square one and some fans learned nothing from the dark ages.

And what's worse is that Kap's resume as a starter from 2012-2015 is leaps and bounds better than Alex's from 2005-2010. But still, fans want want to bail on the QB when the team and coaching staff have regressed.

Trades only happen with players who request deals? Interesting.

I'll tell you one thing. If our GM is only kicking the tires on players who have requested to be traded, he should be fired on the spot. He should be kicking the tires on every player out there.
