I could rattle off dozens more, the phenomena is not unique. Why 50% of the zone doesn't think Kap can get added to that list is baffling.

"What do they have in common?"

I know, I know! None of them have ever done nearly as well as Kaepernick has in the playoffs? Do I get a cookie?

I am sure you didn't pick up the second over night, also English is not an easy language to learn it has quirks in it that are very uncommon.

All of them showed promise out of college or were back-ups that tore it up their first year or two as a starter then fell flat on their face. It happens quite frequently. Elvis Grbac lit it up his first year playing here and I admit being fooled by him, I was livid when he was let go to the Chiefs.

They had to put in past, present tense and plural and singular form into it lol. Most of the world languages don't do that. If you want to say something that already happened or happening, you just say so like 'already happened' or 'right now'. If you want to say more than 1, you just say 'many' or 'one' .
If you are a team interested in Kaepernick and you know that he and the 49ers will agree to "mutually part ways", you just wait until they kick his butt out the door before April 1. They are not going to pay him 12 million dollars. Kaepernick window begins in 9 days and ends in 31. That's about three weeks of trying to deal him to QB needy teams like Cleveland and Houston. Cleveland has #2 pick and probably will take Wentz or Goff. Dallas has #4 pick which seems to be the only other QB needy team before SF. Those two may be gone by #7. I don't see Kaepernick going to the Texans. Bill O'brien is one of the most impatient coaches in the NFL who yells out "f**k" every two seconds.

Jed York's quote:

"All I can tell you is that the last conversation I had with Kap was a good conversation," York recnetly told The San Jose Mercury News. "I asked how he was feeling. I hope he's doing well. I care about his health and well-being because I think he can be a big piece of what we're doing, going forward."

- Sure, a big piece in acquiring draft picks or moving up. He does not say Colin Kaepernick is our QB.

Chip Kelly's quotes:

San Francisco 49ers head coach Chip Kelly told reporters Thursday that embattled former starting quarterback Colin Kaepernick has no interest in playing for another team.

"HE wants to be here." "He's never expressed to me that he doesn't want to be here. He expressed to me that he was excited about getting healthy and getting going. And we're excited about him getting healthy and getting going."

- Yes, getting healthy and getting going to anther team....He does not say Colin Kaepernick is our QB.

Trent Baalke's quotes:

"Yeah," Baalke said when asked if Kaepernick will be on the roster April 1. "I don't know where all the information (is) coming out, who it's coming from, because it's not coming from myself or anyone else in the organization. The No. 1 focus is on getting him healthy. And Chip's excited to work with him just as he's excited to work with all these guys."

- Sure, the number one focus is getting him healthy to trade him. The season all the Harbaugh firing rumors came out, Ballke was on the radio asking the same thing - who is leaking this information? Once again, there is no "Kaepernick is our QB" statement here.

Looks more and more like Kaepernick will be cut.

I thought they all got their start because of injury to the starting qb.... but whatever.
I need to know if Kaep really wants to be here. If so then I hope Kelly can coach him up and protect him with good blocking. If not then trade him to the highest bidder. I personally would love to see Kaep in Kelly's offense. I think it potentially could be a match made in football heaven.

Has any NFL GM ever state to the media that he's going to trade a certain player before making the trade?

If your Kap and Kap's agent, your main concern is getting paid. 12 mil is a lot of money to give up just because you want out of town. And that's even if he does truly want out. The team can't release him until he passes the physical and there are no guarantees he does that.

With 12 mil on the line, he won't be ready on April 1 and that money will become guaranteed. And if he really hates this organization, he'll try to get that 12 mil.

How does Grbac fit that? He had a good run in KC including making the Pro-Bowl after a 28 TD season.

I keep hoping, not because I think he is as bad as some or as good as other but because I am tired of the constant bickering about him.

Since Kap is "turrible" folks who bash him here shouldn't have a problem with us trading him to the Rams for Nick Foles... to be reunited with Kelly?

finally get that PocketPasser some have wanted.

http://espn.go.com/blog/st-louis-rams/post/_/id/27204/could-rams-pursue-colin-kaepernick

I honestly would be open to that

Kaepernick, Gurley, and Tevon Austin....as well as their other athletic TE...and a defense.

49ers go into the season with Blaine Gabbert and Nick Foles and a draft pick.

If Trent and the front office value Kap the samw way some do in this forum, this should be a done deal come first week of April. Since other true landing spots will wait to see if we release him.

There's going to be two major inflection points in regard to a Kaepernick trade:

1) The day before free agency officially opens.
2) 1-3 days after the last of Fitzpatrick, Griffin, Bradford and Osweiler are signed.

After that -- chances are very high that the teams left holding the bag without a true QB will maneuver to grab one in the draft.

So, if Kap gets traded, it'll happen before 4/1 -- but will have little to do with the guarantee on his contract.

If we assume Fitzpatrick, Bradford and Osweiler ultimately end up with their current teams (which generally seems to be the rumor) -- that leaves the Browns, Cowboys, Texans and Bears as teams who will either have a large or passing interest in getting a QB. But the Cowboys and Bears will be looking for QB projects. So, that leaves the Browns and Texans as the only likely trade destinations (I've removed the Rams for the obvious reason). And both are well-positioned to pick one up in the draft. Post 4/1 -- Why would they trade?

No doubt about that.

to do that wouldn't Kap and the front office have to settle on a injury settlement o

for that to happen wouldn't there need to be an injury settlement, since he needs to pass his physical by April 1st?
