Kap played his best when Harbaugh limed what he had to do. In 2013 49ers were 32 in pass attempts and 30th in pass yards. His most pass attempts was 478 in 2014 and he went for 19/10. In Philly they averaged 584 pass attempts over Chips three seasons. Not sure Kap is the type of QB to be attempting 30+ passes per game.

Kap is like a stripper. You totes want to hook up with her, and if you pay her enough money she'll definitely suck. But you know she's a bad idea, and you should probably get tested afterwards.

Cam standing in the pocket throwing all over Seattle. The kid has taken the next step to be a dangerous passer. We need Kap to follow that progression.

Can't compare Cam and Kap.
Kap is going to be a 29-year-old qb that needs to be "fixed" next season. Cam 2 years younger and progressing exponentially.

Not really. Panthers offense is tailored for Cam and they have an oline that can actually pass protect, Kap deserves the same and if he doesn't improve then OK cut him, but don't make a decision based on the abortion this season was.

So you want to run an offense consisting only of zone read and designed rollouts?

He's been regressing for 3 seasons. Please watch the games. From Russell to cam, everyone is making strides. Please stop making excuses for kap.

Same crap mobile QBs have heard always, "defenses figured him out, can't read defenses bla bla bla...gimmick read option"
LMAO laughing at all the idiots, love how Cam is proving the idiots who just hate him and QBs like him (Kap, Cam, RG3) wrong every game and when he gets a ring it will prove mobile QBs are here to stay.
Cam has always had accuracy problems. Always had problems with his mechanics (bad footwork, over shooting his throws always). Always got criticism for b******t that "statue" QBs never got. Wearing a towel on his head, pouting, superman pose.
As far as comparisons it really doesn't matter. Kap may never become as good as Cam is right now but it's irrelevant.
When people talk about Kaps or Cams or RG3's potential this is what people were envisioning as oppose to the ceilings of QBs like Gabbert. This is the potential that Cam has reached that we all hoped Kap would excel towards years ago. He has not BUT that potential STILL EXISTS and it is BORN can't be taught to scrubs like Gabbert.
Kap has it whether he reaches it is another thing but to give up that quick but spend 7 years on our other QB that never had the potential to begin with is hilarious.
Cam has played a full 5 years basically, Kap has not. Makes no difference how old Kap is.
LMAO LMAO LMAO
LOVE IT.

Gabbert is mobile, too. And he's fast. And he has a strong arm. Why do you think he's a scrub? Because he was on the Jags? Gabbert has potential and a ceiling he hasn't reached also... it STILL EXISTS.
Both QBs have potential. The problem is Kap can't reach his potential while still learning the basics of mechanics and fundamentals. With Gabbert you don't have to waste time teaching these things.
I've "played" guitar all my life. I never had a teacher, was only self taught. When I got out of the military, I went to art school and studied music theory. I barely touched my guitar during that time. Now, having an understanding of the theory behind the music, I'm 100x better on guitar, even though I didn't play very much for almost 3 years (I think I played guitar maybe a total of one semester, and had to use a keyboard and notation software for nearly all the classes). I pick things up almost immediately, and can learn entire songs in one sitting where it used to take me a week. Singing while playing comes naturally now, because I'm not so focused on playing the notes. All because I understand why certain notes are played when and where they are.
Simple fundamentals and basics. You can't be "an expert" without them.
