Gabbert is cheap and is currently matching Kaps numbers.

Gabber had the best year of his career this year. Kap had the worst year of his career. Do you really want to start 2016 with a guy who's banner year equals the worst year of the qb everybody wants to run out of town? Again, money is not an issue in 2016 and it's a fact that Kap has been successful in this league. It's also a fact that Gabbert hasn't. What your proposing is illogical and smacks of serious bias.

Gabbert has been way above Kaepernick this year. It isn't close.

Partially correct.

Gabbert is cheap but his PFF grades, particularly in passing, are well above Kaepernick. Even his run grade is considerably higher.

Passing....lol... Is that what you call Gabberts lateral passes and 5 yards when we need 9 attempts. That dude is the ultimate stat gamer.

Also can you tell me what Gabberts 3 rd down percentage was va Kaps this year? How about on third and long?

Don't mean to come off rude I just think Gabberts stats are a joke. The guy never comes through on 3rd and anything, plus he rarely scored any TDs.

Mark Sanchez has been successful, what happened years ago is old news. Good chance we draft a QB so whoever is starting is on borrowed time. I would rather take the extra cap space any buy 2 more guys in FA.

Sanchez never took over a game like Kap in post or regular season. Kap didn't Dilfer his way into the Super Bowl. And I know you know what I mean.

At any point recently has he looked like that kind of player? When was the last time he looked franchise worthy?

The link I referred you to is PFF grades of both players. It is how the pros, with no emotions involved, grade players. It involves the pros view of all the factors you just noted, and more. I listed their grades for overall play, passing, running and ranking among all qualifying QBs.

When he had a decent O-line blocking, instead of M.Martin, Jonathan "I get bullied" Martin, Devey, Pears

Can you tell me the line next year? Because if he needs 5 probowlers blocking he needs to go elsewhere.

Let me take a shot.

The coaches advice Kap to just hand the ball off, since they are at the 2 yd line with the worst O-line in football going up against the best front four in the NFL.

I'm also guessing that they told him to make sure and secure the exchange, and live to fight another day.

But, let's blame Kap for not improvising it at the 2yd, with the worst O-line in football.

Who said he needs 5 pro bowlers? How about just some decent pass blocking
