the key to kap's success from here on out will depend on his work ethic in the film room.

Gabbert is a Great Back Up to Have.

I'm with ya. I don't think Kaep is going anywhere. Much to the dissatisfaction of many fans. Gabbert was a pleasant surprise, but he wasn't setting the world on fire behind a slighty better, Deevey-less, Killgor enhanced, offensive line.

Not to mention, all the sudden some scrubs figured out how to semi-decently run the ball.

And a little more than a second before a defensive tackle is blowing past the center and right guard!!!!!!
I can see the new coach going with the potential and abilities of Gabbert. He's younger at 26 and more polished than Kaep mentally. Kaep at 28 is a bit old to be catching up to the NFL mentally.

Especially an offensive mind coach. He's not going want to limit his offense to half of the field on most plays for Kaep.

I think your definition of bad differs from most people, he was ranked 20th in QBR, most people would call that bad since it is below average.

14th last year.

Ahead of Alex Smith, Cam Newton, Ryan Tannehill, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Andy Dalton, Matt Stafford, Derek Carr.

http://espn.go.com/nfl/qbr/_/year/2014

The guy that was terrible last year, the athlete playing QB had the 14th best QBR playing in the toughest division in football.

In 2015 your boy Gabbert is 30th. BEHIND Kaep. Please...spin away.

qbr is flawed and you shouldnt trust anything where they dont give you the formula
