1.) Signs a team friendly deal and asks if this will help the organization retain and aquire talent. (Seems like he knows its a team game and he wanted the best chance for the team to win and be successful)
2.) One of the top coaches, your mentor and the person who publically had your back is chased out the door through back stabbing and leaks.
3.) One of the back stabbers with no NFL head coaching credentials is promoted to head coach.
4.) Talent walks out the door and cast offs are brought in as replacements (great way to help you out after you gave up salary and guarantees to maximize the talent on the field with you).
5.) Entires staff and schemes are subpar.
6.) You're made the scapegoat for the current problems and are being run out of town.
Kap will be successful elsewhere. No one can excel in this environment.
Which is ignoring that he was regressing before this season ever started and has been for awhile. I don't see him being anything other than inconsistent, he's way too up and down and has never developed the necessary awareness and decisiveness that is the hallmark of top QB's across the league. If you give him the best OL in football, a good running game and a good defense he'll be able to be a solid QB for you but nothing more. Its gotten to the point where its truly best for both parties to just simply move on.
And when Kaepernick goes elsewhere and he continues to be inconsistent because he struggles to read defenses, I'm sure the diehards will have plenty of excuses for as to why he's not getting it done there either.
