Ok that makes more sense. But if I remember correctly, wasn't the defense only giving up like 15 points a game in 2012? I'd have to look it up.

they fell off toward the end of the year. gave up a lot more yards and many times Kap had to bring us back or just keep us ahead long enough to win

great post. love how morons on this board argue that Kap got carried in the playoffs the way Alex did. not the case. lmao. quite the opposite.

Why the heck are Kap fans talking about 2012? We already know Kap was explosive in 2012. Who cares, this is 2015 (his 4th season starting), and he looks likes like Ryan Leaf.

And Alex smith got carried? He only played 2 playoff games and his defense gave up 32 points against the Saints. I don't consider that being "carried".

Neither guy got carried by our defense in the playoffs. Our defenses wore down in the playoffs and the numbers back this up. In the Harbs playoff years, our defense gave up 16 ppg in the regular seasons and 24 ppg in the playoffs. For comparison sake, Seattle during their run gave up 15 ppg in the regular season and 18 ppg in the playoffs. Personally, I think Vic's reliance on a short rotation bit us in the ass.

If he had enough attempts to qualify he would have been the 7th rated passer, and averaged 255 net yards passing and 88 yards rushing in the play-offs. Robert Griffin was the actual 3rd rated passer and had Washington up 14-0 on the Seahawks before injuring his knee and playing on it in his only play-off game. The leg injuries have "slowed" RG3 to Kap explosiveness and top end speed. So if you think Kap can make this miraculous return to 2012, why not RG3?

Bob, all you have to do is just go back to see WHY that came up in the first place. Before throwing out names. HOW F'n hard is that?

if there is a president of the Kap fan club... is there a president of the Hate Kap fan club?

Well said. Yeah, that Seattle D, I hate that team but was pretty damn good. Our D was great too, so yeah I was shocked at the HUGE drop off in the playoffs.

That's the 5 Kaep fan club members getting the Medal of Honor going down with the ship.

Some of us already in the Gabbert gondola waiting for the next rescue.

How much better would Kap and the team be if we had a top 10 offensive line instead of the worst offensive line in the league?

That might make sense if that same QB didn't go to 2 straight championship games and a throw away from a SB title. lol

I remember reading an article within the last year where Steve Young was saying that Bill Walsh used to tell him to use his legs in emergeny only. and that it's not fair to everyone else on the team if you can't go through your progressions... or run the offense... or something like that.
