2013 Ravens - Deense gave up 34 pts - Keep in mind early in that game Lamichael James fumble. If people still complain about Kyle Williams' fumble, how is LMGJ exempt?
2014 Green Bay - Defense gave up 20 pts
2014 Carolina - Defense gave up 10 pts AHA! There you go!
2014 Seattle - Defense gave up 23 pts. Kaep was the only player on O that showed up.
All this talk about Sanchez is funny too. He did not play well and he also never won a game where his D gave up more than 21 points. And that was just 1 game. The rest of his wins, the D gave up no more than 16 points.
It's one thing to not like Kaep and say he isn't playing well now. That's fine. But the blatant lies being thrown around here are embarrassing. Kaep's poor play lately speaks for itself, there's no need to lie and rewrite the past to get your "point" across.
Blaine Gabbert is the popular guy now, but he too will face the same BS if he is starting here next year and has anywhere near the success Kaep did. His following will turn on him in the same fashion.
I remember doing a similar breakdown over the summer. Basically our defense during the Harbs era was 16 ppg in the regular season and ballooned up to 24 ppg in the playoffs. Now you are playing tougher competition so some increase is expected, but ours was too much. For comparison sake, Seattle during their run gave up 15 ppg in the regular season and 18 ppg in the playoffs. I think you can make a real strong case that Vic's approach of playing a limited number of guys bit us in the ass ever year as we saw our defense deteriorate down the stretch.

Kap had 243 rushing yards in those 3 games while Gore only had 164.
Unfortunately you failed miserably in comprehension. My only point was that Kaps running was the driving force and not his passing. It was stated that his passing and sometimes his rushing got it done I merely pointed out it was in the wrong order. It was also stated that we had no rushing game but in the first playoff run Gore averaged over 100 yards a game and Kap almost the same. I never claimed any of the things you ASSumed! I addressed the points I wanted and you applied them to other points you wanted. To me it appears you have a problem with reading ones post and accepting as written so you can discredit it for your own gains.

Errr what? It was his running AND passing. He averaged 266 yards passing with a 103.5 rating over his first 3 playoff games. Beat those 3 teams with his arm and his legs and I'd say mostly his arm. That said....who gives a s**t? This nitpicking over how much of the win was devoted to his arm/legs is pathetic.
The next year Kaep went up against 3 good efenses (2 were top 5) ON THE ROAD and won 2 of those games. Threw for 200 yards in the Carolina game and 230 in the Green Bay game. In the playoffs on the road.
Then again carried the team in the Seahawks game until the 4th quarter...ON TH ROAD. When's the last time the Seahawks lost a game in the playoffs on the road. How dare Kaep lose his last 2 post season games to Super Bowl Champs!

Could the president of the Kap fan club please explain how 2012 applies to late 2015? If he had enough attempts to qualify he would have been the 7th rated passer, and averaged 255 net yards passing and 88 yards rushing in the play-offs. Robert Griffin was the actual 3rd rated passer and had Washington up 14-0 on the Seahawks before injuring his knee and playing on it in his only play-off game. The leg injuries have "slowed" RG3 to Kap explosiveness and top end speed. So if you think Kap can make this miraculous return to 2012, why not RG3?

Now David Carr coming out and blaming the coaching staff and lack of weapons. Kaep lost his confidence.

Well once I broke your numbers down, it showed that Kap has relied on his legs as many times as he has relied on his arm in the playoffs. He's had 3 games with heavy running, the 2 GB games and the seahawks game. The other 3 he held back and mostly passed. So you were wrong there.
Then you tried to act like Gore always had his back in the playoffs. After breaking down your numbers we also found that Gore was absent for an entire playoff run, and Kap carried the entire offense.

Kap is where he should have been a month ago, but all that matters now is that he is on the bench. I hope he isn't there to hang his head and look like a defeated warrior, but rather to watch, learn, nad hopefully change his game based on what he sees from the bench. If somehow gab gets passes off, well bully, and let's hope kap notes how gab does it. If gab gets buried under a mass of D linemen coming thru and over our R side, ok, take notes of that. Does kap see anything that might help him get a pass off, even with a caved in R OL.
If kap is hangdog, and "poor me" then this exercise is a failure. I would hope kap learns something, and if somehow, miraculously gab succeeds, i hope kap learns from that too.

Gabbert: "Colin's been great. I wouldn't expect him to be any other way. We have a great quarterback room. The dynamic between us is wonderful and it's going to continue to be that way."
Let's hope this is true.

Why are Kap fans talking about 2012? We already know Kap was explosive in 2012. Who cares, this is 2015 (his 4th season starting), and he looks likes like Ryan Leaf.
And Alex smith got carried? He only played 2 playoff games and his defense gave up 32 points against the Saints. I don't consider that being "carried".
