i agree

i think he is a smart qb that works hard

but that being said when he is on the field i dont think he has the ability to recognize different overages and go through progression

basically in my opinion i think he is a good student - will ace his finals and midterms but suck when it comes time to apply it on the field

Sounds about right. There are a lot of smart people that are not great at applying their work in crisis/critical times.

No, that is NOT what I am saying. What I am saying is, it is Kap's tough sh*t that he can't scramble as well as Russell Wilson can. It is not Russell Wilson's fault that he can scramble better than Kap. Besides, there are more than one way of dealing with a bad O-line as a QB apart from scrambling, how about you get the ball out faster? Well, guess what? That is ALSO Kap's problem (that is on top of not being able to scramble as well as Russell Wilson) is that he doesn't know how to read the defense. He panicks, he doesn't have great pocket awareness, he can't go through progressions, etc, that is why he can't get the ball out fast before the pass rush gets to him. Hey case in the point, the infamous GIF from the Rams game, 2 WRs deliberately left unmarked, completely wide open and Kap didn't even look once, get the picture now?

Lol you're using a guy that handles a bad o line by scrambling, as an example of why Kap should be able to handle a bad oline by reading a defense and getting the ball out quick. Never said Kap gets the ball out fast, just saying it's a bad example.

No, dude. I have already told you, it is not Wilson's fault that he can scramble better than Kap. And if Kap's scrambling ability is sh*t then he will have to find other ways to deal with the bad O-line such as by getting the ball out faster. Is not a bad example at all, when you have a pass rush running at you at 100 mph, one way or the other you will have to find a way to make a play.

I would like to see him have a visit with his old college and HS coaches as well as the expert you suggest. Anything than can help!

he'll be back

have a good day guys!

One guy also has thrown under 200 yards 5 times this year, and is in charge of leading an offense that's only earned 200 yards 4 times.
His best game was probably vs Pit, he had 65 passing yards and 0 TDs at half time (29-3 at that point). So Kaeps 270 yards and 2 TDs were all on garbage time.

hopefully but he needs to learn defenses before he starts again. he got by with his athleticism before but the league caught up to him.
Kap is benched and ppl still defending him like they know more than the experts lol. It's like the smith benching all over again. Emotionally attached, so they can't let go. Guarantee if kap is traded next year whoever is die hard defending him will follow whatever team he gets traded to more next year than the 49ers. Happened with joe when he went to Kc, happened to Alex when he went to Kc and now gonna happen with kap.

When did i say it's Wilsons fault Kap can't scramble? Lmfao

Using a guy that excels at making free blitzers miss, and can handle pressure better than any QB in the league because of his scrambling ability as an example of why Kap should read defenses and get the ball out fast, is indeed a bad example.

A good example would be a QB that leads his team to wins while handling a bottom 3 oline by reading the D and getting the ball out.

Mind you I don't believe Kap has that ability so a lot of the things you're arguing with me about is a waste lol

i was one of alex's biggest defenders and i couldnt care less once he went to KC. Kap is out qb right now but hes also a massive douchebag, hopefully gabs is serviceable enough to finish the year and we can get a shiny new rookie qb and a real veteran qb to coach him up next year

ive got to be honest

i dont think he can bounce back

ive stated a bit before but i dont think he is able to make the reads and adjustments on the field in game time

i have no doubt he is able to do this on film or on paper - just too many reports that hes a good student but on the field in 4 years he has hasn't shown he is able to read defenses and move through progressions

Alex got 7-8 years of not doing jack s**t but got chance after chance. Kap takes teams to championship games and super bowl and then has a few bad games because the supporting cast is s**t then they bench him. Something wrong with this franchise.

Ahh...thanks! I turned a deaf ear to PFF when they rated Iupati top five OL even though he can't pass block. Very skewed toward run blocking. But there is not one rating system I trust completely. To me you can't have a mid-level OL without a right side.

when you constantly miss open targets, still dont throw the ball away instead of getting sacked and look utterly defeated, its time for a change. kap has missed vernon being open for two years and last game two of our dudes didnt even have people lined up on them and he missed them both. that tells me hes not even looking at the WR's because hes worried about getting blasted. hes playing scared dude, some time on the bench will either fix him or break him completely. time will tell. hes not even close to being as mentally tough as alex was under worse circumstances
