Would Brady miss an un-covered Torrey Smith for a walk in 97 yard TD? Would Brady consistently throw into receivers feet or airmail throws 10 yards over receivers heads into the sidelines? Would Brady consistently panic under the slightest bit of pressure taking sack after sack instead of getting rid of the ball when he can?

Yes the Oline is terrible but these issues with Kaepernick are not new. He has never been accurate. He has always had happy feet. He has never been able to read a D. The difference between the Harbaugh years and now was that his issues were masked by a once in a generation D and the leagues best run game. But even those years he was a one read and run QB. Roman was criticized for having a one read offense when in reality that playcalling was the only thing that kept Kaepernick in the league.

The reality is that Kaepernick is just another athletic QB who has no idea how to be a QB.

I fully expect Gabbert to get lit up but the simple fact is that he does not have a 120 million contract or will not be getting paid 17 million next year.

Kaepernick will never be a QB to take the lead of a team and carry them on his back. At this point Im not even sure he is a capable backup.

It's time to move on.

No one questioned Brady in that way. He's old. And they simply said when are you thinking about retiring? And he said I'd play another 10 years if I could. Now people can spin it as usual w.e way they want, but the majority of the media were not questioning his play in terms of retiring or not. Peyton manning though is a whole different discussion.

Brady was having a bad season last year?

Exactly

Does he get to do anything else exciting?

He gets to wear a baseball cap on the sidelines. Nah he wont do anything unless they have some specific plays for him to run like he used to do when Alex Smith was our QB but I doubt they would do that, Kaep will be on the bench all game

No wearing the beats on the sidelines, right?

nope, i wouldnt put it passed Kaep to try it though

see these are the dumb comments that give firepower to everyone who is b***hing about benching him or talking about racism or ageism or whatever....seriously stick to football or walk away.

Hey, I thought these were football related questions. When you're as raw as I am, you've gotta start somewhere.

Here is the thing, yes there is a vocal minority that have irrational hate for the guy, but for most of us we were all in on Kap. We were all in on Alex too. We do back our QB, but we have reached a point where what we are doing now IS NOT WORKING. So to continue as we are and just hope he gets better is a lot like sitting on your couch and hoping your cancer goes away. Wish and pray all you want but at some point you have to do something about it. Playing Kap this year behind the same O-line with the same coaches and even less weapons is only going to make him worse. You keep suggesting firing coaches and fixing the line? well guess what you cant do that midseason, those are moves that have to wait until the year is over to find better replacements. But what you can do is what they do in hockey or baseball, when your goal tender or your pitcher are getting lit up you get them the hell out of there and save their confidence. We should have yanked him within a game weeks ago...now it is too late his confidence is completely gone. He is a shell of what he was. You simply have to get him out of there and see if there is anything left to salvage. If he responds and starts doing and saying the right things and Gabbert is more of the same maybe he gets a chance again by the end of the year to prove he belongs here. But we simply cannot continue how we are and expect things to get anything but worse. Most rational people do not expect much from Gabbert. But Kap is walking wounded right now and asking him to stay in the fight is a disservice to the man and the team around him.

Teams addres line issues all the time mid season though. I know you've seen this before. We saw it last year with Devey getting booted. Teams switch linemen around all the time. I get not making a coaching change midseason but why was the staff there to begin with? A complete cluster f**k.

Anyways, I respect your post.

Fix the line with what? More guys from the practice squad. I think they are a little bit better too but not by enough for it to really matter, and lets face it in pro sports if it is even close the guy they are paying more is going into the game. The coaching staff should have never happened...I said that before the season, but man it is too late now and what good can possibly come from continuing to erode Kap's fragile ego?

He was until they replaced Devey...that much is actually true.
Well well well another reportt leaked and guess what it turned out to be true!! Jay glazers report was spot on. I am a huge Kaep supporter, just as I was a Alex smith supporter. I can't wait for him to move on from this dumpster of an organization. So who you think the next QB is we ruin, throw under the bus, undermine. Surround with lack of talent, backstab, leak reports on, rat on. Jeez the only thing the Niners didn't do was try to falsely accuse him of a crime with Santa Clara police. Good luck Colin. You will thrive away from this mess

not you...the stuff about headphones on the sidelines and all that...it is right up there with the flatbill bs from a few pages ago. How he dresses and what products he endorses have nothing to do with football. But people bring it up, over and over and over and it gives credence to the ones that argue that anyone who wants to see him sit is a hater or a racist or something.

Well I did ask about the beats, but only cause I read something about you can't wear anything but Bose on the sidelines. Just a noob question, don't mind me. It's pretty tough to get into the meat and potatoes discussions like this one, there's so much content added so quick and half of it goes over the head of someone like me.

Anyway, like I said don't mind me.
Happy birthday Kap

If I was drafted by this organization I'd pull an Eli. I would not play here.

Yes. You try anything. Can you honestly tell me the team has tried to address the line? They haven't because they don't want to and have always wanted to move on from Kaep. It's clear as day.

Go back and watch the s**tstorm around Brady last year. He was missing open guys and was not comfortable at all in the pocket which is why there was so much drama around him being benched. They dropped Devey and the rest is history.
That is such a real possibility. What has a better chance of happening. We find another good QB or the NFL just goes ahead an cancels our franchise all together. Decides to just play with 31, Jed can have his stadium for concerts

I mean, people don't read because they want to push their narrative but Brady and the Pats struggled at the beginning of last season with the same junk we have now. So all the "Brady would have been unaffected" crap can end because he was and the Pats dumped Devey and revamped their Oline midseason (something I was told wasn't possible). Good teams find solutions. I have way more stories too. Can't believe people don't remember this. It was a gig issue. Even Belicheck was questioned if he was going to bench Brady. Imagine that. An Oline making arguably the GOAT look like Ken Dorsey.
