Totally. Chemistry is critical in OZ. Like Schwartz said, (switching sides of the OL) it's like asking a guy to wipe his ass with his left hand. Sure it can be done but it's going to take you a while to get automatic like with the right hand. LOL

Can confirm. I broke my right hand years ago when I was drunk. Took about two weeks before it was automatic with my left hand. I switched back once my right hand healed, but that felt awkward. I had to go back to using my left hand. Been a lefty wiper every since.

There you go. Confirmed with a pro OL and pro WZer.

Pressure comes from both sides in today's game. McG is a much much better RT

Agreed. Moving McG is a mistake. Don't blow up the chemistry of the entire OL just to patch LT. We either have to get someone or help out a back-up with scheme.

Yup

Agreed.

No question.

McG has had his issues hate to move him around at this point, he just needs to focus on getting better with his assignments and cleaning up his game.

OK.

Go tweet Cosell and ask him who he sticks at LT vs RT

Dude would just break down film, assess a player's specific skill set within a specific scheme and then tell you who should play where. LOL

Right? He was the first one I thought of even over Skule. LOL.

Kyle was wise to bring in Toilolo for adding blocking help. Put him over Skule and it buys time until Joe heals.

So we now use two players to replace one. That will limit our offense. Let's be real, his loss is going to hurt bad.

It isn't like there is much choice. Kyle can scheme chips to help Skule without major changes in the offense.

In PS, and again today, Skule appeared to be able to hold his own against some pretty good DL, albeit tired from a hot day.

No one replaces Joe, but if we don't have to use draft capital for an interim, it will be a bonus.

I don't want to mortgage the future, but I would at least make some phone calls and see if there is anything we can pry from a decent team at a fair price

That's what Shanalynch said (last offseason) . . .

(couldn't resist )

Yep, losing your left tackle sucks. But thats football. You adapt and adjust and move on. The season isn't suddenly over because Staley got hurt.

Lol he will tell you the best OT should be your LT. I get that there are good ERs from both side, but LT is your premium OL position . That said no way I would move MM to LT right now. Recipe for disaster

Sure it hurts it's our starting LT, Toilolo isn't a pass catching threat at all. The great thing is kyle loves using two TE formations.

There is a major shortage of good tackles in the NFL. Nobody is giving up a quality starter for anything short of exorbitant which is why you see teams continually signing starters off the street.

Short of making a call on Trent Williams, I'm not sure who else they can call on that is worth a damn.
