Trent Williams does not get nearly enough appreciation. To be the best at your position for this long is an incredible accomplishment. Hes not a normal human being even for nfl players. If he can play 10 years here at this level he has to be in consideration for best nfl player ever. I personally think hes already in that argument. Thats coming from a guy who has has worshipped Rice for 30 plus years. Hes still the goat. Lol.
Say what you want about Lynch but for what we traded to get him was genius. Ive been worried about his age and replacement for years but it sounds like Trent has been really upfront with the team. Keep paying me and I will keep being a beast. I assume that's why they haven't drafted a replacement. Maybe they do know what they're doing (most of the time)?
Anyways watch Trent more. You will never see a guy like this again. As long as hes playing at a high level and healthy we need to be all in. Who's more important 0 sack Boaa or big Trent? Stud pass rushers are great but overrated.
The oline health and play is what has me really excited this year. As much as the dline and reciever injuries have been horrible. This has been the healthiest the oline has been in a long time. If they stay healthy and the 5 of them play most of the season together. Watch out.

Trent wanted to come here because of his relationship with Kyle and his distain for the redskins organization. He literally fell into our lap nothing genius on Lynches end lol

Lynch held Staley's retirement announcement to gain leverage in negotiations
When his relationship with the Washington franchise broke down and trade talks heated up in April 2020, Washington nearly finalized a deal to send him to the Minnesota Vikings. Williams rejected going to Minnesota and personally reached out to 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan—with whom he had previously worked in Washington—urging San Francisco to make a counter-offer to get a deal done
*I don't have hate for Lynch, the only critique I've had is the lack luster 1st round selections but have given a pass because we are hitting in the later rounds. So I'm not sure what you mean by "cope" if anything it sounds like Lynch almost fumbled TW. He literally had to call Shanny and block a trade to get here

It really is something special. When I hear of the best tackles ever, Anthony Munoz comes up. After that, the Walter Jones's, Joe Thomas's, Ogden's, etc. Trent is just behind them or in that tier. I don't think any OL matches him for longevity though of elite play.

Then why did Trent have to block the trade and hit up Kyle? He was on his way to Minnesota
