i'll start. I'm sorry Jake.

I'd wait to see how the next two weeks unfold first lol, but I'd give him his due for playing outstanding so far.... if he plays like this the rest of season we are definitely Super Bowl bound.

He also should get some props for his calls on blocking assignments. It's nice to see what we can see, but the OL would not be as good as it is if it were not for his blocking adjustments.
The uptick is most likely due to his contract and his replacements being added this year

Agree on that, and I am looking for Carver to give him some competition next year if he's still on the team. Drake Nuget is another one that might inherit his job. We'll see, but I like both Willis and Drake for the center position next year.

He's had good guards before. Hennessy also came in and did a great job while Bren was out last year.

While he's playing better during his contract year, idk if this year alone is worth paying him more cash next year

Kyle will probably call a lot of plays that allow Brock to get the ball out quickly. and of course they'll try and get the run game established early. That won't be easy. Jones is a good run stopper and Hufanga is good at coming for run support.
I see the running game getting going because of play action and quick release plays coming for Purdy. That will keep Denver honest I hope. However, this week and next week will show us just how good this team is and IF the defense can really stand up and if our offensive line is as good as people are saying. Based on what I saw Denver do against the Rams we are in for a fight, and to be honest, I could see Denver really taking off and winning a close one again. No matter what, this will be a lot tougher and closer game then we've seen over the first 3. We're facing a lot more stiffer competition and so let's see how it goes.

You play who you play. Just because they were not facing the 85 Bears doesn't diminish the fact they have played better than any other group in the league.

However, Denver, and then Seattle, will be big tests. I expect Shanahan's play calling along with Purdy's ability to read defenses and make quick throws will blunt the dagger of those pass rushes.

Also, Denver is ranked #32 defending against the run and DJ Jones is a prime reason for that. On 104 snaps, he is ranked near the BOTTOM of the league overall. Kyle will take advantage of that weak run defense to dominate TOS and keep our defense fresh.

Myles Garrett played when we played the Rams. It's debatable whether Aaron Donald is their second best pass rusher at this point.

Byron Young has been the most consistent pass rusher for LA. Donald is a close second followed by Garrett. All three are very close together.
