My thoughts too. Both the interior Oline and Dline lost at the LOS were the main reasons we lost the game. The D at least held the points to 13 even though they couldn't stop Seattle when it counted at the end.

The poor play by the back 7 was a bigger factor. Missed tackles, bad run fits, mental mistakes.

Yes, and Dlineman getting blocked by FB letting Olineman take out the 2nd and 3rd level defenders.

A Pro Bowl quality center is hardly a reject

He's not Pro Bowl quality, if he was a bottom feeder team wouldn't cut him not to mention you want another player who can't stay healthy. That's a Big pass on that

McCoy is signed through 2027. Right now Spotrac estimates his value at $17m.

Here are the UFA Centers this off-season, their PFF rankings, and Spotrac market value estimates:

Linderbaum - #5, $17 million
Connor McGovern - #15, $16 million
Luke Fortner - #18, $6 million
Ethan Pocic - #20, $11 million
Sean Rhyan - #31, $7 million

For comparison, Jake Brendel ranked #12. His 2026 cap number is $5,1 million.

Eric McCoy was ranked #18. He is a better pass protector than Brendel but well below in run blocking. His 2026 cap number is $17.5 million. I highly doubt Kellen Moore is going to give up on McCoy.

The only player on the above list I would consider as a worthwhile improvement over Brendel is Linderbaum and there is no way Lynch is going to get into a bidding war at that level with Baltimore and other teams.

They say the Ravens don't have the cap space to resign him

Yah gonna find lots of defenders in the late 4th round to step on field right away.

Well let's see Seahawks just found 5th round CB Woolen who is probably better than any CB we have .

He would be my pick as well. Better PP than Brendel. Not as good in RB. 27 years old. This has been his best year so far. Other teams will be interested in him as well. Saints will want to keep him but they are in cap hell. No way to clear money in 2026. Their situation is terrible.

Yeah and I think that's why 4eva thinks he gets a post 1 cut or trade. Draft has some interesting guys as well

Saints do save $10M if post June 1. I'm not sure how all that works in FA.
