Burford looked slow, rusty, heavy. Not much improvement from Colby.

Hennessy had a pretty good game. Good in PP but just adequate in run blocking.

Puni was the highlight. He looked almost back to his 2024 form.

The big test will come next week against a strong, agile Ram front.

Brian Burns leads the league in sacks. They have a good d-line.

Other than McKivitz looking terrible like he had cement cleats on a couple of sacks etc.

This O-line impressed me run it down the Giants throat. Though it is pretty obvious that Kittle is the key to the running game.

Yes, Burns is good, and we saw that with the struggles McKivitz had with him. However, Lawrence is the only DT that will scare anybody on the pass rush. He can be moved in the run game as Puni demonstrated several times. The rest are lower tier guys.

Giants have the worst run D in the league.

We probably have the worst running blocking line we hardly ever get in push.

Hennessy needs to remain the starter

Rams have a better rush defense, they have 27 sacks I believe and are tied for 4th in the league according to Fox. Let's see what Hennessy does against them.

Yep.

The Rams rotate three guys at DT. Each one is better than what our IOL faced last Sunday except for Dexter Lawrence and he can be doubled teamed. He also wears down in the second half due to overuse.

Will it matter? We know the coaching staff. This is Brendel's job when he's healthy

I mean they run stunts and stuff as well…before the game everyone in here was saying how the DL was gonna murder our OL and Jones.

I wish we had a sick DT rotation... it isn't bad, and it could get better I suppose, but not yet there

I think Puni could be feeling better, at least he looked that way in NY, but of course it was the Giants. Big test coming. AGAIN Last time in LA, the oline was a bit banged up and not really settled in... Hennessy's new, Barford taking over for CC and Puni might be getting healthier. Will be a doozy
