Lets talk about Run blocking David? Also, he made a point to say the Saints gave the Cardinals offensive line fits. Meanwhile the Cardinals are ranked 2 in pass blocking on his same metrics after two weeks.

Couldn't of given them that many fits.

Lombardi can be overly glowing.

Small sample size. We faced a bad Saints pass rush and decent pass rush in the s**tbirds.

A saints pass rush that had 5 sacks and even more pressures the week before?? Huh?
Think the oline will only get better there more they play together

If only they could practice and play together ... like ever.
the 49er starting o line is not the problem. The problem is Depth on the o line. Trent William with the 49er has never played all game in a season. Bartch is already hurt and on IR. Now Burford is on IR. Connor Colby is hurt I hope he plays. The o line gets inured and depth is not good. Who is going to back up Trent Williams? When he is out is it still a top 10 or 15 line?

I don't know. How many top 10-15 lines lose their LT and their backup LT and are still top 15?

This may or may not be a surprise to you, but OL depth across the NFL is pretty bad....

i was going to say the same everytime i see fan boards they all say Oline or OL depth is an issue
Every line is thin. The way things work the 2nd team is either a cheap journeyman retread who was never quite good enough to be seen as a long term starter, or is an largely unproven young player. It's just the way things are.

Adrian Martinez is the new backup swing tackle.

I'm willing to bet by seasons end me saying our pass blocking is overrated currently and the saints have a bad pass rush will be true. But sure you can say the saints have a good pass rush cause they sacked Kyler a lot….
From another thread, I posted about picking Jarrett Kingston from another team's practice squad. I think it's worth it due to our very thin offensive line's depth and even though it's just a small sample, Kingston showed more positive potential than some if not most of our OL backups. Plus he's really young which means his ceiling is still potentially high.
What's wrong with BARF that he is now on IR? Did he get injured in practice like all of our players do? What did he do and what is the timeframe?
