And in the biggest games when scheme was neutralized the online faltered everytime.

Our offense walked off the field with a lead 3 times in the 4th Q and OT

LOL.
The depth at least looks awful. As you would expect. Our offensive line is ignored. So I expect it to be bad. BARF_ord looks a little better though. Which is strange.

Depth doesn't look bad on interior. Colby & Moss look at least somewhat decent but understand they are rookies and who knows.

Tackle depth tho.... I don't even know. Do we have any other backup tackles besides burford?

It looks pretty thin after him. Strangely he's playing better. Which I find odd. But it's a nice surprise. At least in the preseason he hasn't been making glaring mental errors that he's infamous for. He also looks borderline athletic out there. He's feet move pretty good and mirrors and slides on the edge. Keeping the rusher out. I've been borderline impressed by him. Almost shocked. That's saying a lot for me. Because I was never high on the guy. But give him his due. He's playing a lot better.

We've got great depth. Unfortunately they are starting.
They need to pick up a back-up OT this week.
There are many backup tackles better than ours that should be available

Praying to the NFL gods... teams cut down to 53 and let go a few solid olinemen (especially tackles and centers). Please 49ers, get lucky

That just really hasn't been a thing for the past 15-20 years now.

OL is just a very hard position to fill. No teams have average/above average 3rd stringers anymore.

They are lucky to have 2-3 serviceable backups.

Layman's terms - we'll be fk'd

It's still Barford, dude, don't be fooled
in some other thread I got taught that we have such a good O-Line.
Wonder who the clowns are on this board.
I understand why they do it, but it bugs me we never get to see the line we're actually going to get before game 1. We can't know how any player will do since they have no gameplan and are playing next to random players on the line play by play.

I hope whoever they put out there does their job and stays healthy.
Imagine how much better Purdy would look if he operated behind a decent oline. Right now he is standing behind Traffic Cones and still getting things done.
