I believe FAs will be watching the QB position and the DBs to get a picture of the niners future. The OL will be a group in progress as will the DL. So a top FA LB or WR would sign if they had confidence in leadership. Bowman gives that to the D, will CK or BG lead the offense? Signing Boldin will help with offensive leadership.
The OL is a hopeful group...if they can finish the season with a young starting group--Staley/Beadles/Kilgore/Garnett/Brown--then it will be a good group going forward. If Pears is starting...

There was chatter late last week, about increased interest in him... May be mistaken here, but it might have been the Saints that was rumored? I will go back and see if I can find the article. I wish him nothing but the absolute best myself.

It's possible Tiller beats our Beadles for a starting spot. Tiller flashed a few times last year. He is capable of pushing bigger DTs off of the LOS by himself.

Does Trent Brown, Fahn Cooper, or John Theus have a legitimate shot at beating pears for a starting spot? Are any of these guys injured?

I don't want to see Martin sniff the starting line up. If pears starts it will probably be temporary.
