Also that chart has nothing to do with OL's. It's what the QB does WHEN there is pressure and we all know mobile QB's have a better shot at escaping than a classic drop back QB. In short, the chart doesn't really tell us anything we don't already know. But it's fun to talk about (so thanks).

There are tons of mobile QBs on that list (most much more mobile than even mahomes!). Odd that mahomes is by far the best at avoiding sacks THAT SHOULD HAVE HAPPENED because his ol got beat.

As to the sb argument, not sure if you actually watched the game. 3 dropped TDs by the chiefs, amongst other things. To say nothing of the fact that the OL literally suffered 2 injuries in the afccg. So yeah if you put grade F Olinemen out there it's a struggle at times. Despite that, if you watched the game, it was just an incredible performance by mahomes despite that

Orlando Brown only gets beat because he's a LT. He's more valuable than Javon Hargrave.

Again, that's nothing new to anyone.

Again, a HOF QB who had "...an incredible performance" got destroyed 31-9 and beat to hell because he had a SF-like playoff offensive line.

Exactly.

You need both.

PFF (now maybe YAC and the Fail Five will "get it").

LOL at the Cowboys at 3 though. Typical PFF right there.

Sorry Hoov, it too is a paywall.

Wow...it got real quiet in here from YAC (did he quit the WZ again?), 9ers4eva, All, Hoov and Gore. I hear you French!

Your single source of B.S. (PFF) just mirrored the Subject Matter Experts on the trenches to a tee. But the SME's noted this three months ago.

It looks like a fail again...

Maybe you should compare the PFF stats of those games to see if the stats match your eyes.

But then you'd have to pay for that. Haha

Never hurts to be elite everywhere. But I assure you that 32 out of 32 teams takes mahomes and an ok line vs dak/Kirk/hurts and an elite line.

The QB is by far the most important

It sounds more like you have Mahomes-envy and Jimmy-hatred like 9ers4eva than anything. Maybe you should focus more attention to Brock Purdy and what's in front of him???

It's football. Of course he's the most important. Are you going to tell us the sky is blue too? Haha

This isn't a one vs.the other debate. It's what happens when you only have one.

Hence why, you need both.

Its a very simple concept for 99% of football fans.

It is, but when egos get in the way it prevents good faith arguments and just devolves into gross exaggerations, gaslighting and moving of goalposts . Lame

What's funny is last year in the playoffs was a SF like OL performance for the Chiefs OL. Yet somehow a regular season ranking negates their average playoff performance.

Also funny the worst OL performance of the last 3 postseasons was the performance vs the Cowboys last year. Yet the game was won. Can't put my finger on the difference though.

Exactly. It's just case by case based on what supports one's narrative. Zero consistency
Everyone hates Jimmy because we realize him and a great o line would not move the needle. Raiders have a good O line with good skill positions and yet on pace to lead the league in picks

Purdy and an average O line is still a SB contender package. French is spot on.

I hate mahomes, hate how good he is but there is a point where you watch the games (stop looking at off or whatever) and you say this dude is pretty wild. Chiefs OL is not elite, has never been elite. The QB is elite.

As for focusing on Brock/niners, I can walk and chew gum at the same time. Not hard to see what's up with other teams.

One last thing, in last year's Superbowl, the team with the alleged undisputed #1 best OL I'm football lost with an "great" QB. A QB not as good as mahomes. That's all the answer you need to know.

They had their worst game of the season in week 5. hmmmm. I wonder why?

Because they were facing our tier 1 defense.
