How much sack ownership should be attributed to each NFL QB?

I wanted to find out so I built a sack probability over expected model.
This is the % probability each QB adds or subtracts to/from baseline sack expectation per play.

Gee what a surprise
Its like Pat Mahomes gets mediocre OTs paid or something
I just wonder how they even come up with these kinds of stats.
It would just be a hell of a lot easier to look at PFF's pressure responsibility distribution chart that I was posting in here last week.
I wish I was more confident in the PFF staff's judgement though. Those are credible stats, but I take any statistic with a grain of salt anyway.

49ers use a ton of statistics too, and they got Jordan Mason because of their Stat guys finding his numbers and getting him as an undrafted player. So stats are definitely VERY important. But it's (as you said) hard to parse out what you are seeing stat wise, with what the film says about the player and the team. It's good to look at Both, as you said previously. Otherwise, you don't have a complete picture of what is really gone on.
wow. McKivitz did a lot better than I credit him for.
