Well, sure, that's what AB81 and I were talking about earlier in the year. They can keep everybody, *IF* they backload a lot of the major core player deals. I have a feeling though that Paraag won't go for that and hold his ground. I understand that position too. it endangers the long-term prospects of a healthy cap and a vibrant football squad. If the 49ers continue to hit on the draft - we can lose some of our star players and still win games. All playoff team's star players are going to get raided. Look at the Eagles and the Chiefs, and us. It's a yearly event. Blame it on Eddie D's five Lombardi's.

I feel like the Chiefs dont get raided enough

Yeah, I also feel that way. If anything ever happens to Foerster, I hope we raid Andy's offensive line coaching staff for some talent. I think his OLined coaches are underrated.
Mahomes running around, getting hurt and making unbelievable throws is all OL scheme?

LOL. The only time he had to "run around" was when he lost 9-31.
so you don't count the other times cause he won.. that's very double standarded of you

Feel like we have to keep reminding you it happened in the SB vs Niners as well

Which is why he was down 10 in the 4Q. Then he ran backwards once and threw up an arm punt and only had 1 pressure the rest of the game. See how that works?

Yeah I see how moving goalposts works. But here are the facts..,
4 sacks
9 QB hits, many of which were tattoo jobs. One of which almost got him knocked out of the game because his PP failed and he was forced to scramble and hit lit up by Ward
Countless pressure that had him on skates the majority of the game.

None when it mattered most though.

But we did do a great job up to that point. That's for sure.

In the end our tier 1 DL couldn't close (or the rest of the team for that matter). And theirs did.

The beginning of the end for us in that SB came on a 3rd & 15 when Bosa was allowed to get chokeheld long enough for Mahomes to find someone deep downfield. After that, the flood gates burst open.

Heartbreaking to watch. That team was special. They truly won together and lost together completely.

He's had a tier 1 OL his whole career until that year (Bucs had it then). Now he doesn't have that tier 1 OL. Take a guess what will happen this year.

He is special though. He certainly can make the most of a breakdown and really is in a standard of his own. Nobody should expect that. That's generational, IMHO.

But he's still human too.

Ranks are due to the teams that are left playing.

Ranks doesn't take away what was actually happening on the field. If PM doesn't have mobility, they never make it to the SBs

Sure. He's a stud. He too seems to rise when it matters most...unless he's running for his life all game.

Problem is that when the SB with the Niners is brought up, he ignores how bad the OL was Then when he brings up the SB vs Bucs he fails to acknowledge that the OL was absolutely decimated with injuries across the board. Or like last year j just disregard what occurred in the playoffs prior, as if they played flawless

No matter how poorly they actually play throughout the playoffs, they are the #1 O line if the team wins the SB.

No but two Superbowls do.
Lol, OL didn't win those

No but the Chiefs did.
that doesn't make every person on the staff great
Reid's a good OLine coach. Good OLine coaches know other good OLine coaches and tend to hire them on his staff.

If you don't have a good OLine, Mahomes can't even play QB. Pat lost to Tom because his OLine was decimated in that super bowl game. Persons was playing guard and got dominated by Chris Jones. You don't have a good OLine, you won't have a decent football team. The WCO starts with the OLine.

If you ignore the fact that field conditions favored pass pro. Sure. KC's pass rush may have had 2 sacks in the SB but it was for only a total of 2 yards lossed. Who knows what that O line would have looked like on a better field.

What the OLine would have looked on a better field is sheer speculation. What actually happened is that the KC OLine did a whole lot better than the Eagles DLine - and that was a big key to winning that game. Who's to not to say that the KC OLine made it *look* like the field position was crap for the Eagles.
