It's curious that everyone in SF is jumping ship. I'm wondering if there's something odd going on there. It's very unique.

They aren't jumping ship. They are flat out RETIRING! WTH!?

If NFL players retiring early wasn't a trend yesterday, it is today. Chris Borland is 24 years old. #49ers

I think it's cute that people think the NFL is in trouble if young players start retiring. Nope. As they say, "Next man up."

Source with Niners just told me they had no idea Borland was having any physical issues.

Borland told the OTL guys he only knows of 2 concussions and the last one was roughly 7 years ago.

To me that sounds like he is just saying he doesn't want to play anymore and is getting out before it happens again (as in diagnosed for the first time in years, even if he has potentially had others since).

Could also just be that he "doesn't want football to be his entire life" kind of reaction.

wow we went from one of the deepest lb cores to an injured bowman and an average wilhoite.

We got nothing at ILB now.
Quickly call that thug rolando McClain
I just want some good news. Is that too much to ask for?

I was really looking forward to watching this kid go this year.

Its odd he would tell Outside The Lines before he would tell the 49ers....
p***y
Good luck to him; it's his life and he chose health over money. It's on Kap and the offense to somehow carry the load but it's not going to be pretty.
