got a Hyde knock off last year that ill wear if i go to the game to get tailgate stuff all over and i still wear my old style willis jersey on gamedays. i havent picked up a real new style nike jersey yet. thinking of getting bowman, or gore since gore will be cheap now that hes gone :( i dont really believe in the, i cant wear a jersey if the dude isnt on the team anymore, i still bust out my barry bonds jersey and my jason richardson jerseys from time to time and i wish i could still wear my garrison hearst but its too small. get what u like

There's no problem with that, buy some tshirts or hoodies that are actually licensed apparel of the NFL.

Why do some people focus on the "other mans name" thing? Its a 49ers jersey. Its supporting your team. I wouldnt buy a shirt with Patrick Willis' face on it. Its based on the 49ers. The name part is just the player you think represents your team well.

Theres a lot of people who say "Its weird that people get all emotionally invested in a bunch of men in uniforms that run around and tackle eachother." They just dont get it.

But you still jump around and yell when the same 24 year old dude scores a TD though. I thought it was a bit strange when I started to pass half the roster in age, but you dont notice it much at all. Theyre the elite of the elite among athletes. There are plenty of police officers, firefighters, and military servicemen younger than you, but you wouldnt think they were less deserving of respect because of age. Im not comparing football players to them, its just the same age based concept.
