That Kim Kardasian ass aint no joke. Ruined him for life. RIP Kanye.
All it takes is a few good Reggie Bush plays to make his acquisition worth it in my mind.

Perhaps I underestimated his injury proneness, but knew that there would be some upside to this pickup.

We'll get it, hang tight.

Very true. He showed he had the burst with what he created on what should have been a tackle for a loss on his first carry. Fortunately, we have a damn good running back ahead of him in Carlos Hyde and only need Bush to be a role player. I definitely see us picking up a similar back in the draft next season with one of our later picks.
When I first saw this signing, I thought: Why? Lame move. When I watched Bush get injured, relatively minutes into the season, I reaffirmed my talent evaluating capabilities remain better than Baalke's.
Baalke haters when we signed Reggie Bush:
Bush sucks, he's old, he's injury prone. We should have stuck with Hunter instead because he is much more reliable when it comes to injuries! Fire Baalke. The 49ers should make me their GM.

Baalke haters if we didn't sign Reggie Bush:
RBs that can catch the ball was our biggest need for our offense. We could have easily signed bush for relatively cheap. F U Baalke and Jed for being tightwads. Here comes another year where we can't even throw a screen pass. We have all this cap space and we don't use it. Fire Baalke. The 49ers should make me their GM.

FYI, injuries have nothing to do with talent. Unless you want to argue that Gale Sayers and Bo Jackson had very little football talent.

of course this is the truth., this has been a brutal week in the zone,, seems like there is nothing but hate, hate , hate for our team, healthy players, inured players, front office, etc etc. reggie got hurt on a play he never should have been running. they are taking their time with him and for good reason. they know this season is a marathon and not a sprint esp with the parity in the nfc. and yes the team feels good about davis and a improving hayne. this week, its almost like some of our own people who call themselves fans are just giddy about last sunday and if i have to hear one more thing about what the team should have done, whom they should have drafted, whom they should have kept... well I just do not know

if this poster is serious,, this sums up alot of things amongst certain members of our fan base,, you got guys here shrilling they can be a better gm than what we got and now this. jesus
When you compare Bush's salarly to Wright's or other niners who are bench warmers and emergency backups, it's reasonable. Salaries

My hope for Bush is to give us a boost during a few difficult games to get us to the playoffs and then to be healthy in the playoffs. If it requires him to take games off during the season in order to be near 100% it's fine. At his age and body type he is injury prone but still quick and fast enough to make that special play at times.

If the team had picked him up to be an every down back or expected him to be consistently healthy I'd be disappointed...but that is really unlikely.

Edit: Bush's cap number is a bit more than half of Gore's...so they are saving quite a bit of money this year and adding a back who might add more in this new scheme...or not.

Why is r.b worth being questioned. He's a proven game winner for years. Injuries happen, doesn't make him bad, look at his tape, proven player. JT wants players 100% not 80% it provides longevity for players, gets the most out of them for longer. As for screen plays, hayne can catch the pill, time will tell, but don't think you should be writing Bush off yet

i like our coaches very much but he never should have gotten hurt. that play was a hyde or even a miller play. why rush him back esp if hyde is ok?
Why is not in very often? When he is in why are they running him up the middle?

Why?
This guy is so Overrated!!! He is made of glass. Another horrible signing from Trent.
injury settlement, and sign a back off the street, get more use out him.
