Describe today's 49er off-season events in one word | Page 13

This offseason is a blessing in disguise..

As of Willis I woulda hated to see him released/traded...but honestly his play was falling off for quite sometime these last two seasons with injuries catching up to him...he just wasnt as dominant As he used to be...with borland waiting in the wings we should be okay...I'm not saying he's the next willis but at least hes a callable starter..

As of Gore, it sucks to see him leave but just ask lakers fans How it feels paying for kobe...would u want to overpay for a 32 year old running back just because of all his past accolades...if gore deserves anything it's a shot at a ring and i think it's safe to say we don't give him that best shot...thank you for the good times but for the best of the team let him go elsewhere

Crabs...safe to say he never Lived up to his potential...injury plagued..maybe a change of scenery helps him but in my opinion he's not worth a wr1-wr2 type contract good luck in buffalo catchin passes from cassel/Manuel

Justin smith- the ride has finally come to an end but this saves us $$$ this kinda bummed me out but what more can we ask from a 37 year old...

Bruce miller is probably the worse out of all the news today...after all the day mcdonald crap last year we still can't seem to get personal conduct across...grow up kid or good luck finding New team...

Niners fans should be optimistic we saved a bunch of money on aging veterans...we have caplable replacements I'm not saying production will be identical but the talent is there we planned for this I will give baalke that (hyde, borland, carradine/Jerrod Ellie)

Lets use the money wisely...signing Torrey will be a great first step and possibly locking up Aldon long term...if we could land Reggie bush or Cj spiller kudos to us just don't overpay...

Everything seems messy media wise and on paper but I think this will help us long term...GO NINERS
