What does JT need to accomplish to return as HC in 2016/17?

Depends on if they play consistent and efficient. That holds a lot more meaning than running up the score on the Jags but then getting held to 1-13 on the 3rd downs in the NFC Championship game.

If you think our offense was good, then you'd still want the OC here that was running it?(Roman)

No, I do think the offense needs to improve and believe it was time for Roman to move on. I'm not sure Chryst (Roman's QB coach) is the man for the job though and wish JH and the defensive staff didn't have to go just to make it happen.

Im not sure Chryst is the answer either, but I don't think it can be much worse than what we saw last year.

I wanted us to do the same thing, bring in a new offensive staff and keep Harbaugh and the defensive staff intact for atleast one more year. But, Harbaugh had his faults too. And if everything is true about his lack of preparation, and wanting to coach the game by "feel," than in the end we would always come up short.

I hope you're right. Or, perhaps more accurately, I hope JY and TB are right!

I would really like to see a more relaxed and confident CK next season. A lot depends on whether Logan can have a significant and positive impact on Kap's development.

He would have to bomb horribly to be fired after his first season IMO, I don't see it happening.

Would you consider 7-9 or worse bombing horribly?
The way our team works is you get 3-4 years before you make yorkie cry and he lets you go...no matter what happens.

I think it'll be a lot easier for Kaepernick to get in rhythm once he's not "handcuffed" by sporadic play-calling. Also, if he can get running early, he seems to "be in the game" a lot more.

More play action and roll outs should work well for him. I think Carlos Hyde will really excel in that style of offense as well.

If Singletary can survive for two seasons, then JT probably has a pretty long leash.
Yes, Mr. Baalke. Yes, Mr. York.

7-9 would get him another year, anything below that and I think he's gone, regardless.

I'd think you would have to fire him if he doesn't win at least 7. What would the team think. You fire Harbaugh after 3 NFC Championship games and one 8-8 season, to bring on someone that doesn't at least match his worse season.

It would definitely be a hard sell for York. The fan base are itching for a Lombardi after coming so close these last few years, so a losing season while hosting the Super Bowl in a shiny new stadium would not go down well.

Thats his game there, roll outs and playaction, but we didn't see much of either last year.

What do you think Hyde's celling is? Top 5.....
Lets call him Jimmy T or just Tomsula.

"JT" always makes me think of J.T. O'Sullivan.

I'd like to think he could be a top 5 back.. I expect he'll probably end up splitting carries with Hunter and a draft pick though.

Haha, how about we just forget Mr O'Sullivan ever stepped foot on Candlestick.
