What does JT need to accomplish to return as HC in 2016/17? | Page 3

I posed this question in the 49ers 2015 Coaching Staff Thread and thought it was worth polling. Even though I'm sure JY and TB feel they've got their guy and want to keep him around for the long term, I feel like anything less than a winning season in 2015/16 would make it very difficult to justify keeping him around for 2016/17... Jed's made it clear that anything less than a Super Bowl victory is unacceptable for this franchise - so I think this is what it takes for JT to remain for three years: Year 1: Winning record. Year 2: Deep playoff run. Year 3: Super Bowl victory. Anything less and we're looking for a new HC.

Yeah, I think the only way he'd get fired is a sub .500 season. This is a championship caliber team. Only so much a coaching staff can do to screw it up like we saw last year.

Playoff win because that's the LEAST we would have had under Harbaugh with a healthy roster. Like Steve Young just said, when healthy this team has Super Bowl roster, it's the new coaches that are iffy.

I think both Baalke and Jed would keep their mouth shut if JT's first year is 8-8....

.... but I don't see him being around if he doesn't go 10-6 (at the very least) in his 2nd year with the same players...

Some of us were tired of harbaugh wasting the most talented team in the nfl the last 4 years.

Putred offense every year with the tallent to win at lest two superbowls during that period. They won those games on pure talent the offensive game planning was nearly nonexistent. This team is and was even more stacked with talent the last 4 years it was like kissing your sister.

If he/new staff have an awful year, Jed will forgive him as long as he sweeps Cawks, beat John/Ravens and if we play on Thanksgiving (he has to win that game too)...

Furthermore, should we go undefeated at Levis, Jed will give him a raise and kiss (a wet one) him on national television (Paraag will jump in)...

If we go to NFCC things will get out of hand (x-rated)...

If we win the SB (you don't want to know, buddy, you don't want to know)
