Who would pay him $6 million?

I think a lot of teams would pay a very good 28 year old #2 receiver $6mil/yr.

I don't, jus based off what he produced. I know he didn't play much, but a team wouldn't give him 6 million. Even Boldin isn't making 6 million

The Crabtree situation will be interesting.

I believe he can still be a very good #2 receiver if he can stay healthy. There was so much wrong with the offense this year that only looking at his numbers does not give a good picture.

I would like to see him back but the price will be the issue. He will almost certainly shop the market where I believe he may not find the numbers he wants. There will be a lot of WRs on the market plus some very good WRs coming out in the draft. He is not going to get paid like he wants. In which case, I want him back.

Of course all this depends on if he WANTS to be back here. Given what he has been through the past two years and the dysfunctionality of the passing game, he may not want to come back. He will be looking for a QB and a system that is more geared to passing than what Baalke is talking about here.

Boldin is gonna be 35 this year though.

Why? We never do much in FA.

We never do much in FA because we don't really need to. Teams that depend on FA signings are usually incapable of rebuilding a team through the draft.
Luckily here, Baalke is good at keeping the talent, so we don't have many needs that can't be addressed with a 1st-3rd round pick.

We don't spend recklessly but we have had some really good FAs recently.
I'm very confused, when did this all come about?

I don't buy the rumors of him being shopped or being cut, makes no sense to me... you're referring to P. Willis

No way in hell does he get cut or traded. He's still a VERY VERY good linebacker.

Don't go there with VD either... he ain't going anywhere.
Yea 6 is too much for SJ. Brooks is outta here.
Can we restructure Stevie? We need to keep him, but I don't see that happening at $6m.

He's had over 1,000 yards receiving three times in his career, somebody would pay him, guaranteed. He's still a very good #2 WR.

this

It wasn't his fault he didn't get on the field much. Kaepernick didn't look for him so he had low numbers. As Phoenix said, he is a very good #2.
