The way I take that comment is that a guy who is mobile is going to be inaccurate at times....because he is throwing on the run. As we have seen with Kap in the past, he can create huge plays with his mobility that don't require a ton of accuracy because he bought enough time for the WR to be open. If he were a statue QB, he probably would not have lasted the whole season behind that line. See Carson Palmer and Drew Stanton.

Yeah I agree. He's just saying that he sees value in being mobile. To help evade the rush when protection breaks down, or if there's a free rusher. WRs are asked to have a nice catch radius to make up for slightly inaccurate throws. No coach in his right mind would imply, "I don't care for accuracy". That's stupid and if that's what he meant he should be fired right now. But that's not what he meant.

So the talk show host is the QB coach? Poor, poor Kaepernick.

Mobility and accuracy should be valued equally, you can't lean more on one or the other! Also, the end game for the QB is ultimately accuracy. Mobility obviously decreases with age so we need someone to teach Kaep how to operate in the pocket.

I sure hope Logan is not out to ride Kaep's legs because if that's the case, we are fvcked!!!!

Skip to 7:15ish, he knows how to beat the Seahawks

What was Harbaugh's record against the Seahawks with Kaepernick starting? Did we win even one game? If we beat Seattle even once, that will speak volumes for me.

Won once when Kap was starter

Frank pretty much won that game for us at the end. Went down in bounds...

That´s not what he said. MB blatantly misquoted Logan.

Steve Logan

I take mobility at the sacrifice of accuracy

In the article he talks about offense (10) vs defense (11) and therefore at any given time the defense can bring one more guy than he can protect.

If he had to choose he takes mobility at the sacrifice of accuracy to help evade the rush. Of course best case scenario you dont have to choose and your QB has elite accuracy + elite mobility.

For those of you on the west coast who may not know this guy. I listen to this radio station just about every day. I love his segment. He's new school coach with old school philosophy. He had a strong ethical approach thst I think will be a good example to this team. He cares a lot about not just developing the player but the person. Logan is definately a teacher and will be great for Kap of nothing else but for him installing confidence and freedom to be himself.

I really like this hire. I know it seems like we are just bringing in random people, but this whether it be chance or accident will most undoubtably work in our favor. Another thing, he is very very respected on the radio all over the east coast, especially in the south. He's built a good resume, and done well just about everywhere he has been.

This will be interesting to watch.

The bolded is true for a great number of the coaches we hired.

I too am very intrigued by this. Good post.
