We saw some of this against ATL's blitz where the 49ers tried to, and did on at least one occasion, beat the blitz with 5 routes, not additional protection (4 routes). QB has to know his hot and go there, then hope for RAC.

This is a departure from the Harbs offense IMO.....This is also a staple of a WCO, that is beating the blitz by releasing 5 guys.

Logan knows football, that's why it's laughable when some write him off as some "radio DJ". His radio show was solely based on him being a coach 20-30 years.

this is interesting, because out of the 8 points Ive read, we only could adhere to #4 (out of those that we can tell, obviously who knows on #7 or #6/#5. everywhere else the oline or/and kaep havent really played according to this list.

We also don't know how much actual control Logan has in play design. The hope is this is what they are working towards. Perhaps point 1 was a major factor in why the QB change was made.

This article was written when he was head guy at ECU. As I said, despite some of his detractors Logan has a good rep within the coaching circle.
