Cox or cully with go to the bears with Fangio and Donatello

Both could wind up in Chicago. According to PFF, Culliver is rated above Jennings and Cox is rated ahead of Hurst. So with Fuller coming back they would be 2nd and 4th CBs at worst...and they know the system.

I really like Culliver. I think he will be a lot better next year when he has a full off season with his injury from last year.

If I had to choose between Culliver and Cox ...I would bring Culliver back, he still has more upside and has done well squaring off against top WR's

Cox played well last year and isn't as prone to self destruction as Culliver...maybe...

I would like to keep Crabtree. If we can get an OC that knows how to set up the route tree, and a QB coach that can get Kaepernick throwing the ball like an NFL QB, Crabtree could be a valuable #2.

Let's remember, Boldin may not be nearly the player he has been, possibly even retire. If we lose Crabtree, all we have left is Johnson and a couple of guys who have barely played, plus a high draft pick rookie. That is a group that will not strike fear into any defense in the league.

I don't like the way this is setting up.
Not sure if this has been posted elsewhere.

I hope this is just a way to pump up Borland's trade value.

A lot of change has already happened in San Francisco and more could be coming. Sources say that star linebacker Patrick Willis could be shopped to other teams in a trade and also could end up being a cap casualty. Willis missed the final 10 games of the 2014 season with a toe injury. The 49ers feel they have a younger and much cheaper replacement ready to take his place with Chris Borland. With NaVorro Bowman coming back, Willis could be deemed too expensive for a team that is tight against the cap.

Another 49er who is likely to be playing elsewhere next season is guard Mike Iupati. Sources say the future free agent won't be restricted by a tag, plus the tag number is too high to justify it for a guard. Iupati wants a fair-market deal, which would leave the 49ers likely outbid. They have some cheap in-house candidates to replace Iupati, including 2014 draftee Brandon Thomas.

Wow, I remember suggesting that we trade Willis, and got ROASTED for it!
If we lose Iupati, who'll step in?

If we lose Crabtree, Patton and or Ellington ready?

If we lose Gore, Hyde taking over.

I want Cox, Culliver, Skuta, Wilhoite, Gore and Iupati back.

Man, I don't even know what to think. Willis has been the heart of this defense for so long, why would they trade him?

I will be extremely disappointed if they do
