Agreed. That . . . and for TK and Bay Area Sports Guy specifically I believe they enjoy inviting attacks from members of every Bay Area fan base so they can play the part of the poor sports journalist martyr supposedly "speaking truth to power".

A couple of nobodies is what they are. I don't read either anymore just so I don't help to feed their sorry a$$es!

Right. Because reading something unpopular with the fan base makes a person a troll. Okay.

You're giving guys like TK way too much power.

"Five words to re-kindle Jim Tomsula's NFL head-coaching image: "Well, let's try this again."

That's what Tomsula said when he started his podium session at the NFL combine today–and it was a good, light-hearted, and knowing public re-set for a man who surely has suffered too much for his awful first-day performance as the 49ers coach back in mid-January."

Timmy K might not have or personal vendetta against the 49ers, but that article, despite is opening, does make it seem that Timmy K might actually have one.

I have never said that he has a personal vendetta, but I do think that Timmy K. 1s intent of ensuring that the media storm against the 49ers continue.

from the article

Really, it's too bad the 49ers kept Tomsula under wraps for a month after that awful start, letting the performance and instant impressions sit out there, unchanged for weeks and weeks.

The 49ers brass should've known full well that Tomsula was capable of much better and should've encouraged him to show that, almost immediately after Jan. 15.

And if 49ers management didn't think Tomsula was capable of standing in front of a reporter or two and speaking clearly, why did they hire him in the first place?

To me, that's part of the significance of the last few weeks–the 49ers' torrid commitment to Tomsula and yet also pained inability to explain it in real words or show it in real actions, the weird staff Tomsula has put together, and yes, all the attached whisperings surrounding all of it.

But Tomsula will face all those issues into the coming season, and the way he leads this team will be his clearest answer. No single great presser or even 20 great pressers proves that a guy can lead NFL players to victory. Also, a horrible introductory presser doesn't mean the guy will be a perennial loser.

These are all just signs and indications–of a personality, a manner, a trait that all of us try to plop into an overall picture and leadership style.

I also know that the more serious issue clouding Tomsula's reputation is that several coaches on last year's staff believe that he was campaigning for the job throughout the season and perhaps funneling information to York and Baalke to better position himself for the top job.

After the formal presser, Tomsula was asked about Harbaugh's comments and the suggestions that he undermined his predecessor.

According to Matt Barrows, Tomsula forcefully denied any such thing and said: "If anybody needs to talk, just give me a call. OK?

"I don't know that Tomsula could have any other answer, though I do know that his position and his actions–and the final result–remain suspicious in the eyes of much of the coaching fraternity, but that's nothing that can be wiped away or proven incorrect by anything now.

It's on to coaching. Tomsula can speak, he can answer, he can do all this without it being a national meme.

I think he has a point. Tomsula should have been given a chance to atone for his opening press conference sooner than today.

As far as the rumors he campaigned for the job throughout the season - I hope that's not true.

...and you are giving him too much of a pass.

Its a very common strategy for sports "journalists" to say incendiary things for the purpose of only getting attention. That's it. Its sensationalizing stories for the purpose of creating mouse-clicks.

That's TKs MO. Already started with TK and his "Kaepernick is next Harbaugh" article. Harbaugh was his meal ticket...he's looking for a new one.

It's not because he's a troll or a bad guy or anything like that...its simply that he's going after stories that create mouse-clicks and get him linked in national publications. Its self preservation.

I don't read his stuff because its always sensationalized and his opinion rather than rooted in fact. I don't read him because it's a waste of time just as it is with the Cohns.

LOL. Such a douche. Yeah, I'm sure JT was on his bat phone calling up to Jed/Trent, "Hey, you gotta see this pathetic offensive game plan they have up for Seattle here on Thanksgiving. Seriously!" Jed, "Thanks JT, we'll keep an eye out...when we get our asses handed to us in our new stadium, I'll be sure to tweet our sincere apologies to the masses and fire Jim instantly. You want the job, right?"

BTW: We know TK trolls here as well so, yeah, TK, feel free to call JT up. #MafiaHit

Can't argue with that.
Nice breakdown of the leading language TK uses, Buck
Before he stepped to the podium at the NFL combine today, 49ers head coach Jim Tomsula joked that the team's public-relation director, Bob Lange, was on the verge of a nervous breakdown.

"I think Bobby's taken a valium," Tomsula said to small group of reporters.

As it turns out, Lange could have laid off the meds: His head coach didn't inspire another PR migraine with a second public-speaking stumble.

A month after he delivered a widely panned performance at his introductory press conference, Tomsula was glib and clearly more at ease this afternoon in front of the national media.

I would say that Timmy K has point of view and he pushes that point of view.

But, there is a good chance that putting together a coaching staff, getting that staff working and studying film, developing the offensive and defensive schemes, and turning that group of individual coaches into a functioning staff, a coaching team, were the correct priorities. Oh, and training Tomsula for the next press conferences.

The training seemed to been successful.

Timmy K is going to push this rumor that Tomsula campaigned for the job throughout the year---and we will never know "if it is true."

Timmy, Timmy, Timmy. A clue might be in his job title?

Okay, writing something unpopular, by itself, isn't what makes a writer a troll IMO. I'm tired of going into details about these guys. I don't click on Kawakami, either of the Cohens or Killion. I'd just rather not support them. If you don't think they're trolling Niner fans, you're welcome to your opinion.
