Cause they get my D hard
when I was 4 I loved roger Craig and my twin loved Walter payton. So I'm the lucky one I guess. From then on I always followed and watched the niners and when I was a teenager started watching more football and paying attention to the draft and reading a s**tload of articles, now I'm obsessed with the team and I probably always will be. A die hard fan who will never change teams and always support them. We already have the best team ever 1989 and some of the best players ever and even now, we are a few healthy players and any OC away from the Super Bowl so can't wait for next year. I really hope Balke trades for josh Gordon, the kid has to grow up sometime and our team and its winning ways might be what he needs. Also, Seattle couldn't cover Gordon anyway and that would put us over the top.

Went to my first 49er game when I was 12 at Kezar Stadium. My father was a CPA and one of his clients was Charlie Krueger. He would give my dad tickets to the games. My greatest joy back then was the 49ers. They meant everything to me. They had no championships back then but were always a tough team with a lot of character and I always thought that they were the funnest team to watch and felt lucky to be a 49er fan compared to fans of other teams. Of course the great run of Super Bowl wins was unbelievably satisfying but no matter what that joy for them is always deep within me.

The NINERS are the one and only thing in my life that has been there from my earlist memory. I have grown up with them. Relationships have come and gone. Graduation. Marriage. Kids. Divorce. Job changes. Cross Country moves. Re-married. Kids. Kids grown. Grandkids. Deaths. Friends that come and go. But the NINERS have been with me! People that know me know me as a NINER fan! It is who I am! Not what I am...WHO I AM! I am a NINER Faithful. Things change but one thing remains the same....GO NINERS!!!

My dad had been a 49er fan since they came to be in 1946 and my siblings and I followed suit. I was a youngster in the 70's so it was pretty lean for me to begin with, but my Freshman year in HS was 1981 and from that point it became an obsession/addiction.

I want winners
Being a young kid in the 80s, and moving from the East Coast to California it was hard NOT to fall in love with this team. They were on TV all the time, Those Gold helmets, The Red jerseys...I instantly became obsessed! Its not a hobby, its a way of life!
GO NINERS!!!!

Born into a Niners family, Candlestick was a 5 minute drive from my house. Will always love my team. Win or lose. Definitely miss the team being here in the city though. Its a big difference, just not the same anymore.
I grew up in Illinois so I probably should have been a Bears fan. I was about 7 years old when I started to get interested in football. The first game I ever watched with my dad was a Niner vs Bears game. I decided to root for the Niners just to irritate my dad. The Niners won and I have been a fan ever since. I was lucky enough to see the team with Montana, Rice, Craig, and Lott. I hope to see the Niners return to greatness like that someday.

When I was 8, I watched my first playoffs/Super Bowl. I watched John Elway and Joe Montana rise through the ranks to face each other in the Super Bowl. I became interested in the 9ers as I watched them beat the Rams in the NFC championship game, they were just so badass! So anyway 9ers vs Broncos, Montana vs Elway, and we all know how that turned out! Since then I've followed them through the years, The rise of Steve Young, the Deion Sanders experiment, another Super Bowl, Garrison Hearst, Terrell Owens, Jeff Garcia, the dark ages, Frank Gore, Patrick Willis, and that brings us to today. I really hope Kaep progresses, I t
ruly believe he can be one the best to ever do it. Quest for six!

Kinda funny story....
I was born and raised in northern California and started loving the 49ers as a young child in the late1980's. The 49ers were something to bring the entire family together. Obviously it helped that they were good/great at the time I first became a fan, but -- as far as NFL football goes -- they became my team for life, through the ups and downs. It was very tough to watch the team for 10 of the 12 years (from 1999-2011) prior to Harbaugh's arrival, but I'm not interested in being a fair-weather fan so I stuck with them. As it turns out the 49ers were something which brought my family together up to a point. I've grown older just to see that sports in general are not that important to most in my family as they are to me, but a few of us in the family still share the love of the team and the game. I've grown more dissatisfied with the refereeing and some dumb league rules of the NFL as opposed to the 49ers organization itself. The 49ers org. does do some things which make me scratch my head sometimes, but I still love the team, and the players and the coaches who are actually qualified to do their jobs.
