The Seahawks today beat pretty much a 49ers Preseason team, seriously a third string Center, third string ILB, third string CB (Dontae Johnson, second string Right Tackle, fourth string TE in on a couple snaps, third string RB - he would've been fourth string if Hunter was available, third string NT, second string Left defensive End. I'm actually pretty amazed how close the game was.

Agree. Been screaming for more Hyde in open offense because he can stretch defenses inside & outside with speed & power.

Ok then, what did Kaep do to win this game?

absolutely zilch

Big fat 0 !! He was killing off drives, missing WRs, had no sense of urgency, the list goes on and on...
This is a prime example that fans can often time see a complete different game while watching the same game, and fans far too often don't understand what coaches do and what players do. "Coaches coach, and players play" means nothing to some fans. For many fans all they see is players playing.

A sense of urgency is ALWAYS on the coaches because they are the ones calling plays. If there's no no-huddle scheme you look at the coaches. Because just in case many didn't know this isn't the Johnny U. days. QB's stop calling their own plays years ago, and even then they didn't dictate scheme. So you talk to the coaches, who keep calling plays that take forever to set-up ith 4 min. to go in the 4th.

Talk all you want, but Kaep didn't loose this game. Let me ask you guys this: What did the coaching and playcalling do to win this game? What did the yet again terrible 2nd half adjustments do to win this game? Fro what I saw it was a story of two half's. They played to Kaeps skills in the first half, even with the overthrown passes. Buy in the 2nd half called a different game. But, I guess Kaep is supposed to dictate coaching and scheming too.

Oh you bet your as* Kap did lose this game !! Killing off drives, missing throws, missing open WRs, no sense of urgency, you name it !!

Yes, the O-line was bad, so let me be nice and say 90% Kap.
Indeed, ignorance is sinful bliss

Vernon looked really slow, Brooks went out, Borland, Gore, Hyde and that was in THIS game. That coupled with that b******t call and we lose.

I don't think people realize or can comprehend the pressure Kap was under during the whole game...
Now, lets look at Wilson... pull out Lynch and Michael due to injury... now lets say Wagner goes out with an ankle injury, but wait, lets have Wagners, backup go out with an injury and lets throw in a PS player for a corner, and on and on and on......
Plus, I believe the Cawks do have a home field advantage most don't have...

Let's blame this game on Kap... He sucked.

My bad Bro. Just too pissed right now. I was wanting to know who was ganna put this one on Kaep.

not just on Kaep but he's definitely not helping.
Are you fukking kifdding me? This is the type of sh!t that really bothers me about fans. Just what did Kaep do to cost us this game? What, you think Kaep is supposed to play a perfect game before you think he's actually helping this teams? Get real Bro!!! But for being warned I cannot allow my feelings to show through in an effort to adequately respond to the abject ignorance of some fans! I am convinced that many of us are watching a completely different game.

This game was a tail of two different half's, with yet MORE injuries to boot (thanx football Gods for having our bakcs ). And for any who watched this game and come away thinking that Kaep was a reason we lost this game is a clear indication that some people really aren't watching football, but simply just watching TV.

I don't think ANYONE (reasonble) expects that. But sometimes Kap just makes bone headed decisions and throws in critical moments. He did it a couple times today at least. No one expects "perfection" but I don't think it's UNREASONABLE to expect our QB to hit a guy who is WIDE open on 3rd down for a critical 1st down.

I do agree though that the play calling was better in the first half. Some nice runs mixed with short and medium passes. That's the s**t we should be doing. Get Kap into a rhythm then hit a deep pass. What's frustrating is that our offense was GOOD before and the reason we went with Kap was because he could REALLY open up the passing game and really make us unstoppable instead of always checking down like the last guy. But now...it's like all we do is run up the middle, throw deep, run up the middle, throw deep. Where are the short passes? Screens? Slants? etc.

So it's a mix of things. Kap not playing up to his potential and the coaches not putting him in a position to succeed.
AND YOU THINK THAT'S THE REASON WE LOST THIS GAME???? Please tell me you honestly don't believe that!!! Please tell me you actually watched this game!!! Please tell me that you have watched the playcalling the whole season!! If so you'll know that the playcalling has been TERRIBLE in the 2nd half ALL FUKKING SEASON from the coaches

"Where are the short passes? Screens? Slants? etc"
Talk to JH and Roman. They are the ones who tried to make Kaep into something he's not. They are the ones that changed the scheme to a scheme that don't fit the personnel. But I guess that's Kaeps fault too, huh.

So yeah, it is a mix of things - a mix in which coaching, playcalling, philosophy, and scheme, are 75% of that mix. For me, there is no equivalence in this. And anyone who tries to draw one is drawing a false one, and IMHO shows that they aren't even thinking critically about this season. False equivalence is a safe attic!!! That's the reason that American politics is so fukked up. Rather than think critically about the issue people would rather rest in the stale but easy "it's every bodies fault" nest. NO!!!! This season was doomed from the beginning of this season because JH and Roman decided to go away from a scheme that work to a scheme that can NEVER work for this personnel. And sometimes it's just that simple!

Ok man. Take a breather. I think you misunderstood my post a bit but it's all good.

Go Niners and here's to a better 2015.

Next up: Tards won't be easy (even with rookie QB) in AZ. Rams don't give **** and will play spoiler

#t=0

Let us hope they don't weasel their way in and get the one or two seed. An extra week of rest would benefit them. I truly don't want them in at all!

Right right, but if they do get in, I hope it's as a wildcard and then ONE AND DONE!!!!!!!

LT Joe Staley: "It sucks. This is not fun. This is my life. This is what I put all my work into."
Why does Ellington take the ball out of end zone to not even get it to the 20? He sucks and so does our special teams coach. Get rid of them both
I just read this entire thread, and I have to say.....Forty Whiner fans are the WHINIEST biyatches I've ever had the pleasure to read.

Did SF get a bad call on the roughing the passer penalty? Yes indeed.....Suck it up, buttercups.....we've been getting ramrodded every game this season so far with bad calls, so join the club and quit your god-damned whining....you sound like 6 year old kids that didn't get their cookies before bedtime.

You were never going to beat us with Kaepert**t as your QB, so I'm not sure why you even had any hope you'd beat the Seahawks today. Guy is a one trick pony that makes one read and bails. Goodbye Jim Hairball, Goodbye 40-whiner fans.....It's all downhill from here with your big contract QB that is about as dumb as a rock.

Cheers

LOL!

Y'all better enjoy this while you can! Once Lynch is gone and your little midget has to play as a "real" QB, your offense will look as sorry ass as ours. Good luck in the playoffs, you guys will need it without home field advantage!

This is what happens when you're 45, single, and living in your parent's basement.
