Of all of the young QBs I'd still take Kaep over all of them.

Andrew Luck?

Yeah I was about to say I would take Luck over at least 25 others.

Luck is that rare talent.

Over him too. Luck has played in the same offense for 6 years and still turns it over WAYYY too much. Kaep is still scratching the surface and takes care of the ball.

Sick of seeing Kaepernick back there. I'll root for Alex in the playoffs. I couldn't imagine anything more satisfying than seeing Alex beat Seadderall in the Super Bowl. I was a fan of Harbaugh until he stabbed Alex in the back. Contrary to most opinions, I think our defense is a bigger reason why we were in most games. Kaepernick won some big games with his legs in the read-option but that window has most certainly closed.

U go right ahead and root for another team, but don't ever come back here.

Thank you! Who the f**k roots for another team??

In case you didn't realize, the Niners were eliminated from playoff contention. There's no other team to root for in the playoffs this year. Alex and the Chiefs are the only team that has any ties to SF. So that's who I hope wins it all. I don't see what the problem is.

Like I said... Dont come back

Probably been here longer than you, brother.

And your post content isn't half smilies either.

My bad Bro. Just too pissed right now. I was wanting to know who was ganna put this one on Kaep.

not just on Kaep but he's definitely not helping.
Are you fukking kifdding me? This is the type of sh!t that really bothers me about fans. Just what did Kaep do to cost us this game? What, you think Kaep is supposed to play a perfect game before you think he's actually helping this teams? Get real Bro!!! But for being warned I cannot allow my feelings to show through in an effort to adequately respond to the abject ignorance of some fans! I am convinced that many of us are watching a completely different game.

This game was a tail of two different half's, with yet MORE injuries to boot (thanx football Gods for having our bakcs ). And for any who watched this game and come away thinking that Kaep was a reason we lost this game is a clear indication that some people really aren't watching football, but simply just watching TV.

I don't think ANYONE (reasonble) expects that. But sometimes Kap just makes bone headed decisions and throws in critical moments. He did it a couple times today at least. No one expects "perfection" but I don't think it's UNREASONABLE to expect our QB to hit a guy who is WIDE open on 3rd down for a critical 1st down.

I do agree though that the play calling was better in the first half. Some nice runs mixed with short and medium passes. That's the s**t we should be doing. Get Kap into a rhythm then hit a deep pass. What's frustrating is that our offense was GOOD before and the reason we went with Kap was because he could REALLY open up the passing game and really make us unstoppable instead of always checking down like the last guy. But now...it's like all we do is run up the middle, throw deep, run up the middle, throw deep. Where are the short passes? Screens? Slants? etc.

So it's a mix of things. Kap not playing up to his potential and the coaches not putting him in a position to succeed.

Good point and I would not sign Wilson to Kaps contract. You have to have cap space to surround them with talent to succeed. Seattle's down fall will come if they pay Wilson 18-25 mill a year. If you had to pick one was it Wilson or the rest of Seattle you would take. Now ask yourself the same question with Green Bay. When you commit to a QB it better be right because they now have to carry the rest of the team. Why because you can't afford a great cast. Green Bay has defensive issues because they paid Rodgers but man for the most part he can mask them.

If they pay Wilson 100 mil. how will they keep a player like Wagner. Already seen this year how there defense is much different without him.

Simply put Kap is not in the elite QB class so why pay him that money. We are not the only ones. Chicago, Cincinnati, hell his brother is going through it. When you strap your self to one QB you better be right.

Haven't you been reading these threads? Because you will never win again if you don't lock up your "franchise quarterback", and do it now because he will cost you so much more later.

Oh wait. I agree with you. And I don't see anyone in the league as smart as Trent Baalke to leave himself a near cost free "out".

Luck is going to be one of the best QBs ever played the game.

I'll take Kap over a lot of QB's but Luck isn't one. Still trading the two will never ever happen. So how do we get Kap better because he isn't going anywhere for a couple years.

wake up, he sucks. its not perfect around him but him missing boldin while he is wide open is the perfect example. woulda coulda shoulda didnt.
Yeah, that's smart. A few overthrown balls cost us the game. Real insightful! I hope you did waste too much of you brain gigabytes coming up with such a stale, used up excuse than "it's all Kaeps fault". Way to go genius.
Dennis Green just said our offense SUCKS against the blitz.

Kap can be "rare" too. Just needs to be coached up and put in a position to do that like 2012 and 2013. This year was just not his or anyone's year.
