Kap is damaged now...need to bring in "Steve Kerr" type to use Kap correctly and build a great staff, a la Kerr. We still have some good players, but not for this staff. By the way, QB whisperer Harbs is probably the absolute worst coach for Kap. He turned a bright and gregarious kid into a punk, it seems. I can hear Harbs,"Colin, don't give the media anything...they'll use it against you." Problem is, when the media starts to hate you, that's when things get rough. Colin could have owned the bay and the media. Super bad advice from someone who we hoped knew better, but didn't. Not everyone is Hunter Pence, but sheesh, you don't have to be an ass.

No dude, you're wrong. Kaep played like garbage! Missed wide open WRs and TEs! Crabtree was killing his CB all day, had 2-3 yards on like 3/4 corner routes and Kaep missed him miserably. Kaep missed Boldin and Davis in the redzone, threw it over everyone's heads. Missed Gore wide open in the flat, and under threw HYDE for what would of been a walk in TD.

While the play calling has been bad, really bad! Kaep has made it look terrible!!

I like the Warriors comparison. I'm not sure if there is a Kerr type available, but that's exactly what this team needs. Not a roster overhaul, but a offensive overhaul. Just like the Warriors.

We have a coach who the players love, but has alienated everyone else in the organization, and runs a flawed offensive system he refuses to fix. To make matters worse, he's surrounded himself with BAD offensive assistants, just like Mark Jackson did.

It's no surprise our best coaches are on defense, because Harbs is not threatened by them. He wants a bunch of weaklings on his offensive staff who are content with just saying yes and riding the gravy train. That train stops now. EVERY coach on offense needs to go. They haven't properly developed one single young player in 4 years, and we consistently rank in the bottom offensively despite possessing ample amounts of talent.

Kaep has never been good with the media. That's not on Haurbaugh.
Kaep struggles are because of Kaep. He doesn't take what the defenses give him. He tries to force the ball in, instead of taking the free 5-7 yards, that is of course unless it's 3rd and 8+, then he'll take the 5 yard route all day

No that's not it. It's what happens when a QB recognizes pressure and throws to his outlet/dump off option, instead of taking a sack or throwing the ball up for grabs. Carr read the blitz/pressure and got the ball out fast. Under 3 seconds a lot of times. When has Kaep done that?

Yes it is. Carr maybe had 3 plays where he really had to get the ball out in 3, the rest of time, he backpedaled and hung out 10yrds form the LOS and made plays when his receivers ran open across the middle. No such luck for Kap, he was getting hit in 2 seconds at times with pressure collapsing the center.

So how does Kap turn to s**t in one year after looking and BEING a world beater for two years? He forget how to play, scheme, play calling, horrid Oline blocking.. I will say the line has been so bad, and all else that now he's buckling under it, so k, I give him 30% these days of crap play, the rest though.. season over,wonder if Harbs is lalaughingn his office..

Yeah, Borland is great, He is NOT a pass defense LB, but we all knew this. He could improve in pass defense and end up being better than he is currently, but the guy has played in 7 games. He's still playing far, far, far above the average rookie to this point.

It's an open forum, anyone can answer anyone.

Sometimes you have to make sacrifices. I love Haurbaugh, but he's made huge mistakes in his time as coach.
1) left kyle Williams in after 2 muffed punts and a diving punt return catch... (Just let the ball fall...). Dude should of been benched.
2) picking Kaep over Smith
3) his ultra conservative offense
4) greg Roman
5) keeping Greg Roman after regressing every year

We just need a QB who can hang in the pocket and make smart throws. Colin never checks down and it seems like most of his throws deep are overthrown. It's so frustrating. He's so talented. Just a shame to see him regress this bad.

Maybe because his stubborn ass won't even admit there's a problem? Harbaugh is the root of the problem this year, he is ultimately responsible for what is going down.
