I dont think the blame is all Kaep or all Roman. I think Roman is failing at setting up plays / calling plays that are to Kaeps strength. They seem hell bent in making him something he is not. Overall I place alot of the blame on all the coaches, the team seems unprepared week in week out. They have looked like they are going through the motions all year. It has finally bitten them in the ass and I dont think it is repairable. Looks like we will have a new staff next year if not sooner.
The 49ers need to take a good look at themselves from top to the bottom. I agree the oline is bad, QB play is bad and a few other players need to go. That being said, coaches and management should get as much blame. I have no words for Colin's regression, he stinks, PERIOD!!

Gore will be gone too.
Iupati gone to expensive
Crabs gone because he wants to play somewhere that can pass the ball.
Boldin might retire
Lloyd should have stayed retired
Harbaugh/Roman gone (thank god)
Cox may be hard to resign
add it all up and it doesn't look good for the future
Oh I forgot our other two QB's are only signed thru this year also.

He read them just fine. what can't happen is flat out pressure every passing play for the most part.
Entire team checked out it's embarrassing

You're kidding me right??

Dude, I've been dealing with this level of denial for over a month. Non stop. It has been SO frustrating.

4 or 5 posters who are hellbent on placing all the blame in Roman. The DSM may have to expand its manual soon.
Dude you're hell bent on us losing! You've been that way since you got here! Quit being a hater and support the f**king team instead of trying to be right! Which you're not!

In my estimation they played worse in this game than they did on thanksgiving. Boy the defense picked the worst time possible to take a big giant s**t all over the field.

It's what happens when the team you play has an Oline that can pass block and give your QB enough time to read the D and make plays all over the place...

No that's not it. It's what happens when a QB recognizes pressure and throws to his outlet/dump off option, instead of taking a sack or throwing the ball up for grabs. Carr read the blitz/pressure and got the ball out fast. Under 3 seconds a lot of times. When has Kaep done that?

Agree. O-line that can pass block & play calls to your QB's strength makes a ton of difference to your QB in the pocket
This
But too many just don't understand this. . .

DSM 6

KDD - Kaepernick Denial Disorder - A cluster B personality disorder where the afflicted person shows 5 of the following 9 traits:

1. Delusions of Kaepernick's grandeur
2. High risk behavior such as betting on 49ers over 17 points
3. Gas lighting - blaming anyone else for Kaepernick's failure
4. Answering questions with 1-5 word answers
5. Constantly missing one's biceps
6. Posing shirtless for magazines
7. Wearing headphones everywhere
8. More interested in self image than productivity
9. Spending all your time in the gym and ignoring reading any educational materials

I think they're all to blame. When things are this bad, it's rarely ever on one guy. Truth is right now Roman sucks, Kap sucks, O-line sucks, TE sucks, WR core sucks. That's how you get an offense this bad. Held under 20 points 6 of the last 7 games, including the past 4 weeks in a row.

It's not denial I'm objective I'm not a basher. He made 2 head scratching int's the rest of the game he made the right read he just either made the throw it was completed. made the throw it was dropped or made the throw and it wasn't accurate. He wasn't lost on where to go with the ball he went to where he needed to he and we didn't make the plays out there.

And we didn't run Gore nearly enough. it was still a close enough game to ride him and hyde to the red zone so roman could cook up 3 unsuccessful plays again and again.

Exactly everybody sucks. Not Kap solely. We are pretending like this offensive line is playing even mediocre out there against the damn Raiders.

Kap excuses... give it up, man.

I drank the kool aid, too... I was thrilled when Kap took over (Alex).... I was happy for the kid.

Now, he just seems like a glorified bum that wants to run around naked and make commercials

The denial is going to be epic.
You guys are right, lets just cut him now and re-build the whole team. The D had nothing to do with this as usual, the playcalls perfect, the line blocked masterfully, and the scheme on point. You arm chair fickle fans really get on my nerves, and I doubt you even watched any film in your life, much less coached.

Granted, Kaep didn't play well. But neither did the rest of the team. When you have a HC and OC with f_cking schizophrenia how the fuKK can you when consistently? . . . But I guess you guys wouldn't know that.

Colin hasn't played well for most of the season. He has faced bad defenses in recent games (besides Seattle). Colin has had plenty of opportunities to show the world that he can carry a struggling team on his shoulders, but has failed to do so. THE DEFENSE is the main reason why we have 7 wins, not because of our pathetic offense and definitely not because of Colin Kaepernick! He is a mediocre QB and fans like you are in denial! DISGUSTING!!

I think Lloyd, Iaputi, and Brooks are gone for sure. I think Boldin and J Smith will be back if Harbs comes back. I just don't see the older vets wanting to stay to play for a new coaching regime. If Harbs stays also I think Gore would be willing to come back at a huge discounted 1 year deal to try and play for the SB at Levi's. The OC would just have to be different and I think Harbaugh makes that move in the offseason, if he's back for his last year.
The dark age is upon us once again. Fake fans can jump of the bandwagon now. Just make sure you stay off for good this time.

Besides the bad offensive scheme, and the bad QB play, we look slow, weak (physically), out of shape, and unmotivated.

Harbaugh is not the answer. What this team needs is someone like Jimmy Johonson or Dick Vermill. No tricks or smoke and mirrors. Just hard nosed football.
