In regards to Crabs, you're blaming him for f**king up that easy TD? That was on Kap. He had to comeback on that pass.

He was also wide open on the third down on the second to last drive. Should have been another big play. Crabs has had a rough season, but yesterday I can't fault him for too much.

As I said...its just like they in different booked let alone the same page.

As for the TD...all he had to do was pull the ball over the line. He voluntarily rolled out of bounds.

I don't get why they clock continued to run on Crabtree play...they called it a completion and he rolled out of bounds without anyone touching him down in the field of play, so that's no different than someone running out out of bounds, the clock should have been stopped.

Not that the clock was a major factor at that point being on the 1 and still having a TO to use, but just another example of Boger's incompetence...like with the safety I think should have been called on Austin since on his own volition went back into EZ including the ball.

And on CK's fumble on the final play, yes he bobbled the snap but he regained control, and granted I didn't watch it more than a couple times but looked to me like he had control and clearly broke the plane, and might have even been down before the ball came out...but there was no way that idiot was going to reverse the original call.

I'm not blaming Boger/the refs...the 49ers offense (and Andy Lee) played a terrible game and have put themselves in a position where they probably need to go 7-1 just to get a WC, MAYBE 6-2.

Sometimes I wonder if Vernon's struggles are due to Kaepernick's passes thrown with no touch on them. He throws bullets that only a handful of receivers are comfortable catching. He hardly puts any air under his deep throws, which look flat. If you look at Peyton Manning or Russell Wilson, most of their crazy completions are thrown on balls with a lot of air, arcing up and coming down gently. That gives their receivers a better chance to make a play on the ball before it lands.

I see many of Kap's deficiencies, but no way am I willing to blame him for a receiver not being able to catch his passes. I don't care if he's throwing bullets every damn time (which he is not) - Vernon's job is to catch the ball. Period. If he can't do that, I am not going to blame anybody else. He gets paid millions of dollars to do this and if he can't put in the extra work to correct this issue, it is his own fault.

Can Kap help him out by taking some heat off? Sure. Should he have to? Absolutely not. He needs to learn to catch.

Watch that play again. I'm pretty sure there was a defender in the passing lane which required Colin to place the ball where he did or risk throwing a pick.

Starting center goes down and undrafted rookie center fill in and plays okay. Then two weeks later they give the job to a rookie center that has been injured all season long. Questionable decision.

Crabtree is second with 7 dropped passes and Stevie Johnson just makes plays, is the coaching staff not willing to make tough decisions and give Stevie more
playing time?

At least on the defensive side you have to earn playing time. Perrish Cox will still get a lot of playing time and Aaron Lynch replaced Lemonier. But Boone has been getting beat badly, Crabs drops to many balls this year and Roman is trying to hard to prove he can be innovative with the passing game and has forgotten to use Gore at the goal line.

I have rewatched it. No defender in the passing lane at all. Should have been an easy throw in the corner of the end zone for an NFL qb. It was just a bad pass bottom line. Also, Marvin is wrong. Crabs didn't "voluntarily" just go out of bounds. He had to comeback and dive for the ball which led to his momentum forcing him out.

That call was BS. It was a TD. You guys are arguing what should be a moot point.

That call was so close. Whatever they called on the field would stand.

If it was an average throw, it wouldn't be in doubt.

Yeah, that was weird the clock was running... I think its because the refs called he "gave himself up." The old STL rams rule from their glory days. The play is dead in bounds if the WR gives himself up. But I think everyone was kind of surprised the clock was still rolling.

Look guys...Jeff Fischer wanted us to pay for what we did to them on The Greatest Show On Turf Reunion day. plain and simple, the same way Sean Payton did it that first preseason (you know what I mean)by blitzing the complete s**t out of us. They always play us good besides that.
With that said, we looked pathetic and I wanted to vomit. Speaking of the saints tho, we have a big game against them coming up on sunday. Bet your bottom dollar we pay them back...oh yeah, for what they did to us last year. I have a feeling, but I truly believe it! The coaching staff, and Kaepernick... will go off and silence "WHO DAT nation...thank you

And the pass in the first quarter in the endzone that was 10 yards too deep. Kap threw Crabtree some really bad passes yesterday. But Crabs still doesn't look good this season overall. Don't know if its mental or physical. A little of both? I think he's ready to move on in FA but this season hasn't helped his asking price.

One thin on the gif of that last play. Did you guys notice the underneath coverage (#23)? He almost looks as if he is in good position to force Kap to throw that away and low.

Crabs' body language is really telling of how much frustration he is going through. I'm sure a lot of it is with himself as he continues to drop passes, but on the slant route (4Q, 3rd down) where Kap led him too far Crabs was very visibly upset, and I don't think it was with himself in that particular instance.

If you watch the play again, Crabs had the CB beat. There was no way the CB would have been able to make a play on the ball provided Kap leads Crabs with the pass. Look at the first picture. The CB is not parallel with Crabs, which would have given Kap a small margin for error. The CB was deeper, in terms of depth on the field, than Crabs. This gave Kap a bigger window.
