BTW: isn't it ironic how the down-the-goal-line camera just magically wasn't available during either the safety play or TD? So odd, right? Only angle was from the back of the EZ-ish.
if this catch is a td:

then so is crabtrees catch...

Boomer Esiason thought Kap was in and so did I.
Did you guys catch the goal line touchdown the Browns scored last night?

What had happened was.....Terrance West jumped over the pile, then stretches his arms out to get the ball to break the plane, and as he's in mid air, he fumbles the ball.....

Bengals recover in the endzone, but the refs signaled the play is over because the ball broke the plane.

If there EVER was a place for a camera, it would be ON THE GOAL LINE. That should be the first camera installed. With the money the NFL has, I would be all for underground cameras, with a 1/2 inch clearance across the length of the goal line so the refs can get a view from underneath.

They have them...in fact, they've had them for a while. They just never showed that angle for us fans. Period.

According to how it was ruled against us, this would be down at the 2 yard line after demonstrating full possession of the ball throughout the entirety of the play. "against us" being the operative wording.
The Santonio Holmes play was what came to mind immediately to me on Sunday. Hell of a play by Big Ben, IIRC that game ended up giving Pittsburgh the division and eventually home field in the AFCCG over the very same Ravens.
Although I do agree that the refs gave the game to the Rams, this is the one game where I can honestly say that I don't really care because we played so horribly, we deserved to lose IMO.

Hopefully that was the kick in the ass we needed to and we'll start playing like we actually give a f***.
NFL rules and refs and replays the worst in sports.

Baseball's review system is already light years ahead. They have cameras, you know, where you actually need them.

its just me but the lack of execution, the poor play, the mistakes we make, the horrid o lline play, the terrible play calling by the twins just over rules any possible theory that we are losing games due the refs robbing us.,., when you play as poorly as we are as of late and then you still set there and blame the refs, it just makes you look sad and pathetic

people really need to read the last six words by this poster. the ;players and Jh acts like they do not give a f**k and that should be very very worrying to all of us, like a team and coach who is just worn down for whatever reason ,, if we get a repeat or worse performance this sunday of last sunday, then there is no doubt about it

No kidding, people continue to do it. You could have changed any one of 4 simple things that were player mistakes on the last two offensive plays of the Ram's game that would have made the 49ers a winner instead of a loser.

Mistake # 1: On the pass to Crabtree even considering the position of the defender he could have ran a pattern two yards deeper and would easily been in the end zone when making the catch even if Kaepernick throws low and he has to reach forward.

Mistake # 2: Same play if Kaepernick throws that pass 2-3 feet higher Crabtree doesn't have to dive out of the end zone to catch it.

Mistake # 3: Bad snap on QB sneak costing precious time while Kap has to stop and secure the ball.

Mistake # 4: Bruce Miller illegally trying to grab Kap from behind and carry him across the goal line, it wasn't flagged and even though there isn't photo proof, I would bet Miller caused the fumble.

It is a plethora of mistakes like above that give us the 23rd scoring offense in the NFL not the refs.
