Gore/Hyde + heavier blitzing.
Not a fan of sending 3 or 4 and everyone else back in coverage.
I was thinking something like that watching Brandon Cooks yesterday. The Saints have not one, but two receivers who are faster than anyone on the Niners. The Niners need elite, scary speed in an outside receiver. It's really the only thing they're missing right now.

Seattle rushed for over 300 yards. The writing is all over the wall

In all seriousness, probably as they will stack the box expecting us to come out rushing as it seemed to work for us last game.

I'm hoping the coaches noticed how Wilson ran wild all over the Giants and how they kept letting him get outside on the read option.

Lulz
Wilson runs = smart qb, ran when needed too
Kap runs = running qb, can't throw, no progression

Well, you'd think Giants D would be more prepared for read option having just played sea...

I think we've run maybe 10 read-option plays all year. And 7 or 8 of them have been hand-offs. If anything, the only real danger for Kap right now is scrambles, unless of course NYG play like they did in SEA, then all bets are off.

We beat 1/2 of our most toughest games left on the schedule, we sit at 5-4 (beyond expectations), Willis is healing, Bowman + Dorsey cleared for 21-day practice window, Ray Mac is clear of charges... and Aldon returns...
It feels like our playoff push finally begins. There's no more b******t, and the youngins are ready to step up with the vets in rotation down the stretch (a luxury you don't get with depth). I'm looking at 'undefeated', or 11-5, either could seal a wildcard in the end (I feel it in my bones). I'd rather go on the road anyways, our stadium sucks.
There's no more stress, no more distractions. It's only 49ers football, November is going to be huge for this team.

One game at a time, but I like where your head is at!
We should win this game, but we all know what happened the last time we said that

I agree with them stacking the box but when you give up over 300 yards that plain and simply means you can not stop the run. My worry is they stack the box we try and get stopped and get away from the rushing game too early. Over time it will develop

That is pretty impressive how the defense is doing it without Willis, Bowman, Dorsey and Smith.
