Even if they were not decimated with injuries, they don't have a great roster. The only way we lose this game is by us beating ourselves (turnovers, penalties and getting out coached).

The defense will be solid enough and if the offense can at least repeat last week's performance (not bad but not great), not even the officials can help the depleted Giants.

Unfortunately, this is possible

Jim Harbaugh is 5-0 in early East Coast Games against the spread...

Line is -3 SF...

Rants on Harbaugh getting ousted again if he gets out coached again

Going on 6-0
The Giants defense is dead last in rushing YPG, YPC allowed & tied for last in rushing TDs allowed with 13. It's not rocket science what we need to do on offense in this game.

Empty backfield with a 5 wr set. Chicks dig the long ball.

Yeah but they revel in getting pounded down the middle.

This game seems very similar to the first Rams game... they were allowing tons of yards on the ground, but then packed it in expecting us to run it. We counter by having our best passing performance of the season.
Not trying to look ahead but we have to take advantage of these next two match ups and go into the Seattle game 7-4.

Yes we do... really, we have to go INTO Seattle winning the next 4 games (@NYG, WAS, SEA, @ OAK). All of those games are winnable and must be won in order for us to keep pace.

And it starts this week. I have a good feeling about this game, but I still think we'll manage to make it harder than it has to be.

Niners better not come out 5-wide on the first play. That'll tell you what the game plan is.

We wont. We'll either run it up the middle, or do play action for a short gain.

I think the weather is supposed to be a factor on Sunday?
I think we will score 35 points all in the first half.

Niners 35
Giants 20

Not really, it's supposed to be in the low to mid 40s and just overcast.
