plus there's always the chance of leaving Roman behind

Go 49ers!
We lose this game it's over. Simple as that. I'd like to think the team will be competitive as hell and have the lead or a chance to go ahead in the last five minutes but my gut tells me it'll be closer to the Denver game.
I see the defense giving up about 24. Think the offense can put up more than that?
I'm watching to see if Kap will choke a little or a lot. Hoping we win despite of him. Maybe he throws a game sealing interception but the guy fumbles it and we run it in for a touchdown.

Sean Peyton hasn't been beaten at home since 2010.

Rookie center in one of the most difficult stadium atmospheres in the NFL.

Graham/Brees is going to be all over our inside linebackers.

Unless we go up early by 10+ points and the pass rush is hot, Kap is going to get flustered and we lose by 2+ touchdowns.

I don't know how the Saint's D has been, but I'll give us a chance if Aldon is back.

What are you talking about? We beat the Saints in the dome 2 seasons ago

No we didn't.

We actually did lol

They can only score 10 at home against the rams so no probably not

Brooks got a pick 6 that game it was kaps 2nd career start and our d just beat up their offense physically, seems like decades ago with the way were playing now.

Kap / the whole offense should just boycott the plays coming in and run their own plays (guaranteed victory)

Defense will be keeping us in it... Roman will try to live / die with Dawson's foot on the line (with Harbaugh allowing it).....
If there's a season-turning win, this has to be it. I thought the Philly game was 'that' game, but the way the Saints are playing (now that they're leading their division) this is easily a 'playoff' game for the 49ers. This game makes me think of the Redskins game in '88, we were 6-5, horrible on offense, and at that time of the season one more loss was gonna knock us out of the hunt (Saints were two wins up on us in the division at that point; 49ers, Rams, and Saints all finished 10-6 that year).

LOL, 1988, where we also suffered heartbreaking losses to the Bears, Broncos, Cards, and Rams; suffered a s**t-load of game-changing injuries, our talented offense couldn't find any chemistry, and the newspaper said our coach was 'too' occupied with being fired at the end of the season.

I think he's being technical. -When we beat the Saints in NO back in 2012 (on Kap's second start) Joe Vitt was their head coach, during the 'bounty punishments'.

Although the Saints are the 'dome' hawks of the NFL under Payton, the 49ers have been known to 'kill' vaunted streaks under Harbaugh. Remember New England in '12 when the Pats were undefeated at home in December (since '03) at that time? Not to mention we were the first non-dome team to win a Conference Championship game... in a dome. We've also ended our two-decade losing streak in GB.
