SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS VS. NEW ORLEANS SAINTS GAMEDAY THREAD (Week 10)

Lolz Saints fan's response to Jimmy's: Had that as a non-call happened to us, you would all be coming up with the most inane conspiracy theories about how Goodell wants to personally screw the Saints so they can't reach the Super Bowl or some other crap, it's always the refs or Goodell's fault.

Sound familiar?

a receiver's has their arm out from their body to keep the defender from getting inside position- think of the difference between a basketball player defending someone trying to back them down in the lane. you can't let them inside your body b/c then they'd eat you alive, but the refs don't let you fully extend (lock) your arm. you're certainly allowed to have your arm on the guy it just need to be bent
NOW
what y'all are missing is what happens when the arm is like that - it's not static, you're actually pushing against the DB b/c he's pushing against you so you're both in kind of a dynamic balance
WHEN the DB starts to flop (and in the video you can see him "move away" first) naturally Jimmy's arm is going to extend bc it's filling that vacuum left by Greg Louganis - BUT HE NEVER FULLY EXTENDS HIS ARM AND NEVER LOCKS HIS ELBOW

we won that game

LOL, this dude is using time space continuum to explain the OPI. Says Graham's arm extended because it had to fill the vacuum created by the empty space left by the DB's "flop". Just great

So Cox pulled Graham's arms causing them to extend? s**t, the PI called should've been on Cox then, for not getting out of the way of Graham's arms.

I can count to potato!

We only give up 2 sacks and the oline gets back on track

I nailed it!

We finish on 11-5 and go into playoffs as a wild card team. Not worried about being wild card we are the best road team in the NFL bar none.
BTW: Someone has GOT to do a keystone cops gif of the Bethea 1Q INT. Ward waves Bethea on to follow him, he trips, takes out Reid and then Reid takes out Bethea...bodies flying everywhere. I can't stop laughing at it!

so basically using the same theory Boldin commited no penalty either, especially considering boldin put his fingertips on the corner and Graham has his whole hand planted on Cox...

Been seeing some stupid comments from Saints fans, there needs to be a no flopping rule and football is gonna start turning into soccer and basketball with all the flopping.........so stupid!

No matter where this season heads, this game belongs in "49er Lore". -There were like so many instances where we almost lost this motherf**ker, there were moments where both coaches said "f**k THIS GAME", but everything bounced our way in the end.
I'm so happy for our 49ers! The paper bags could be coming back in style in New Orleans.....
Saints still leading their division at 4-5 ...
