Wasnt really replying to you just in general so i shouldnt have quoted you because i know you were just replying to everyone else and didnt originally say it.

Maybe my expectations are too high but my thought is, if you've got a team on the ropes and you need one first down to run the clock out, then you find a way to get that first down, especially with as many weapons as the 49ers have, especially against a weaker team, if you can't do it versus the lesser teams, why would you expect to do it against the better ones....

I'd like to see us do a lot more 3 and 5 step drops (doesnt always have to be 7, 10, 17, 20 lol) and spread out 4-5 receivers/tight ends on those short situations. our run hardly ever works. hard to stop that many guys on short patterns. that or kap takes off up the middle with them spread that has been working iwth the spread. that or more qb sneaks.

yup it's clear as day. he doesn't like him at all but there's nothing he can do about it. kap played almost flawless football and had a lot of drops or his percentage would've been even better

Did Davis have two or three dropped passes?

I think that he had 3, but I am not positive.

2 that were purely his 1 that could have been a big gain. might have been 3 but we also have to count the run into vance and stop the td too

Are you new to the zone?
as for our ol i dont think they are as great at run blocking as everyone thinks. I think the pulling is what does the trick and the different formations/shifts/etc. we have a lot of 0-1 yard runs when our guys pull block and do their job thats when we hit the 20 yarders. as for 3rd/4th and 1 i think thats the problem we pull and that creates a log jam and takes too long to develop with the rb 5 yards in the backfield. also wouldnt mind seeing more fb dives. so yeah pulls can break that big one but a lot of the time creates log jams and combine that with gores patience is why you see a lot of 0-1 yard runs. so spread them out 4-5 wide, let kap run up the middle or do small curl routes or whatever... 3 or 5 step drops... qb sneak too or fb dive. bootlegs, anything just need to run right up the middle less on 3rd/4th and short

going for i like. our coaches have turned that corner it seems. they are no longer coaching scared. they are playing to win and it's showing.

the double move at the end of the 1st half is the proof. every game up to the last 2 that would have been a draw.

we didn't say draw we said let's go for it all. can't win playing not to lose and it looks like that's been brought out of this staff

even vic with blitzing the rams and not just letting them go down the field and even on the last play of the game. blitz and he just throws it harmlessly out of bounds

this team is shaping into form and we're missing SO many ALL PRO players

What? U crazy . That's coaching to lose. Coaching to give the other team hope. That's what that is. Stupid. Plain stupid.

100% disagree.
just needed a different play call.
You would have licked your wounds and took a knee with :24 left

this staff went bomb and changed the game.

the utility man
One guy who really deserves praise, week after week:
Fangio

Lucky to have him with this team.

That makes sense two drops and broke up a touch down pass to McDonald.

That's where the learning has to come in, but not against the Rams. But I agree that we have to evolve against better teams

After 3 and almost a half seasons, you think they would have learned by now..........

Only team with 3 straight NFCC in the coaches first 3 seasons...I know it's rough but I'll take it
