I don't understand it. The OL isn't getting much push, Iupati is out, the Rams pass rush has struggled, guys are getting wide open in the passing game, why wouldn't you keep attacking their weakness and what has been working this game, just as much as the run worked last week versus KC.

The Rams were also selling out for the inside run. A Qb keeper would have been an easy first or TD.

Why should he have not been there on an onside kick? Virtually every team in the NFL will put their best "hands" players out there on an onside kick. Boldin was out there. I'm sorry, but I completely disagree with your statement. You can hate the staff as much as you want, but I think any coaching staff would have Johnson and/or their number one receivers out there on an onside kick. Injuries happen, and this could just be a bad break.

The 49ers offense is predicated on the run but when the other team is doing everything possible and selling out to stop the run, you don't run into a brick wall, you pass the ball until they adjust. The Rams dared the 49ers to pass all game long and for the most part, they did a good job of taking what the defense was giving and attacking their weaknesses but then in the 4th they decided to go have a case of the stupids.

going for i like. our coaches have turned that corner it seems. they are no longer coaching scared. they are playing to win and it's showing.

the double move at the end of the 1st half is the proof. every game up to the last 2 that would have been a draw.

we didn't say draw we said let's go for it all. can't win playing not to lose and it looks like that's been brought out of this staff

even vic with blitzing the rams and not just letting them go down the field and even on the last play of the game. blitz and he just throws it harmlessly out of bounds

this team is shaping into form and we're missing SO many ALL PRO players

Not sure who that was directed towards, but the best offensive approach is the one that attack's a teams weaknesses, pass or run, if its working, you keep doing it until the defense stops you.


A team's ranking doesn't mean anything once the game starts. St Louis playing straight up versus the run might struggle, St Louis selling out to stop the run means you keep passing it until they stop.

Well if Steve don't like Kap. F*** him because I'm all about the team. Kap idol Favre owned Steve for years so if Steve ain't down Steve can EAD! Now critiquing a guy is one thing but not liking him? That's BS!

It's cowardly to just say that plays that work are good playcalls and plays that don't are bad play calls or "cute." Truth is, the best play call in the world won't work every time. It's easy to assign blame after the fact, but it certainly isn't impressive.

There should have never been an onside kick. You have 4 chances from a couple of yards away and you still can't get a TD, obsessively sticking with the same play over and over again, hoping that it will eventually work. That was like the Superbowl ending all over again.

Willis blames his toe injury on the turf. I know a lot of NFL stadiums have artificial surfaces but it just looks like the Rams' field is one of the worst. That stadium is a total POS

Great overall team win! We didn't collapse when down 14. But that 1st half had me going nuts

You go with what works. The problem is, it didn't work. Plus going for the 2 fourth downs was PURE MACHO EGO and LOUSY game management. Had nothing to do with run macho.

Did Davis have two or three dropped passes?

I think that he had 3, but I am not positive.
